We started out as a small vinyl label and club night, and over the years we evolved into a global family of pioneers and enthusiasts in underground electronic music. Around 100 events and 50 releases down the line, we've put together something a bit special, so here it is, TRIP050. Here we celebrate the past and the present, while continuing to push forward into a future that can only sound thumping.

Joining us with pivotal contributions are Fractious, Moog Conspiracy, Calum Connell & iluna, who makes her debut here. Cutting-edge additions from family faces Boom Merchant, Hockins, Homma Honganji, Obsidian Wave, Fragile X and recent addition Lefrenk make this a truly intercontinental journey.

Frankfurt legend Marc Acardipane (The Mover - Planet Phuture) engages hostilities on a side with an hardcore ode to the label. Powerfull breakbeat rhythms melt with hitting lines turn "Rave Or Die" cut into a true underground and future classic anthem. Insane!
On the flip, German J. Lindenthal & R. Russino from Mental Fear Productions go dark with implacable "Constant Sorrow", an hypnotic yet doom like song that fits pretty well to this odd period we are all living at the moment.

Born in the rain-soaked, post industrial landscapes of Southern Belgium, the tracks are both brvtal and cerebral, being informed by techno, rave and left field electronics. Today host “Pursuit”, which is a thrilling track of industrial grooves with a cinematic narrative.

Premiere: NZM 99 - Oblivion [SHARPVA01]

BITE is the Berlin-based techno label co-founded by Hayden Payne (aka Phase Fatale) in 2018. Beginning with the debut collaborative EP by Silent Servant & Phase Fatale, the label aims to platform artists who operate outside the conventional preconceptions of techno and are united by an ambition to push the boundaries of electronic music. This drive is further exemplified by regular showcases at renowned institutions Berghain, Basement, and Tbilisi’s KHIDI as well as a multitude of clubs throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

With a vast artist roster from stalwarts such as Ron Morelli and Teste to contemporary talent from the likes of Pablo Bozzi and Gael, the eclectic variety of releases touches upon a range of styles along the moodier fringes of electronic music. BITE has proved itself as the imprint to watch. Fresh off the heels of their 5 year anniversary in 2023 culminating in the acclaimed triple LP compilation ‘Shedding Skin,’ BITE moves into more dancefloor territory with their next releases by label head Phase Fatale and remixes by Rrose.
