I have been songwriting since I was a teenager. It’s my greatest passion.

Arrow in the Sky is the songwriting partnership of midlands-based singer Conor McCauley and multi-instrumentalist Brian Murphy. 'Time Of Need' is the third single from their forthcoming album 'Arrow in the Sky'.

Julia McDougall lives in Vancouver. Sometimes she makes music, sometimes she's a teacher. 

Mike hails from the rural setting of Moore in the County of Roscommon, situated between the towns of Athlone and Ballinasloe. Self taught on guitar, He began composing and writing his own songs in his late teens. The music has a folk/alternative/rock feel with a mix of catchy upbeat tunes and melancholy ballads.  He performed with the cover band 'Unleaded' with College friends in 2006 and following that he formed the acoustic two-piece 'Catch a Fire' with Joel Shields. In the last year, Mike has begun taking part in singer-songwriter and original nights countrywide to promote his music; he has even played support to bands such as Miracle Bell and performed in venues such as the Roisin Dubh and the National Concert Hall. In 2011 Mike recorded his debut Solo E.P 'Lost Lights' in Lakeland studios, Athlone. The E.P is set for release in the coming month and contains four tracks which are sure to make any listener sit up and take notice. Comparisons of Mike are often drawn to other Irish artists such as Damien Rice, Declan O'Rourke and Mundy. 


Resurrection Fern was formed in May 2008 by Bean Dolan, it was a project to see where a non-percussive instrumentation might have taken the songs. The new album, 'Transcend Mortality' released on 18th June 2010, has changed all this. The new songs have strayed from the sound of the debut album by taking in a lot more sounds and percussive elements, but the familiar alternative acoustic style of Resurrection Fern is still scattered throughout.

They have been branded with several genres including alternative folk, minimalism, indie, acoustic earth tones!, experimental and many more... but they all hold folk very close to heart. It's apparent underneath the flow of the songs on their albums 'Earth Rising' and 'Transcend Mortality', and in their live shows.
