東京からはじまる新たなダンスミュージックの旅。

レーベルHOLE AND HOLLAND、WOMBレジデントパーティCOMPLEXSTORE、そしてHandPan奏者・プロデューサーのREO MATSUMOTOが手掛けるパーティCOMPASS。

ダンスミュージックとワールドミュージックとの新たな交差点を生み出してきたパーティから、
これまで出演してきたゲストアーティストとCOMPASSレジデントメンバーが共同作業し特別な楽曲を制作。

第一弾としてリリースされるのは、BALAM / REO MATSUMOTO / YO.AN / Mamazuの４人によって作られたトラックに、
BALAMによるエディットやオーヴァーダブを加え更に磨きをかけ完成した楽曲、Bearing SE。
BALAMのブエノスアイレスの盟友Bit Martenと、COMPASSレジデントのFUSHIMINGをリミキサーとして迎えた音源がHOLE AND HOLLANDよりリリース。

次回のCOMPASSは2025年2月8日にWOMBにて開催。未知の音楽体験をどうぞお楽しみに。

A new journey of dance music starting in Tokyo.

The label HOLE AND HOLLAND, WOMB resident party COMPLEXSTORE, and COMPASS, a party organized by HandPan player and producer REO MATSUMOTO.

The party has created a new intersection between dance music and world music,
The guest artists who have appeared at the party and COMPASS resident members have collaborated to create special music.

The first track was created by BALAM / REO MATSUMOTO / YO.AN / Mamazu,
AN / Mamazu, and further refined with edits and overdubs by BALAM, Bearing SE.
The track was remixed by BALAM's Buenos Aires friend Bit Marten and COMPASS resident FUSHIMING, and released on the HOLE AND HOLLAND label.

The next COMPASS will be held at WOMB on February 8, 2025. Please look forward to an unknown musical experience.

Our traveller journeyed along a shimmering crimson route, venturing through a landscape alive with swirling colours and surreal sights. As he pressed onward, his perceptions shifted, revealing hidden truths and unlocking deep wells of insight he had never known. Each step brought a new vision, mystical patterns dancing before his eyes, sounds transforming into vivid symphonies, and his thoughts expanding beyond familiar boundaries. By the time he reached the end of his voyage, he carried with him a profound understanding that transcended ordinary awareness, forever changed by the extraordinary voyage through that vibrant, otherworldly terrain.
