Out now on Tronik Youth’s (SXDNS050/TAKEOVER001) imprint, another producer still at the beginning of his endeavours through the music jungle: Hailing from Las Calles, Argentina, Bit Marten had his first tracks published on Maleza in 2020 and 2021 and made his debut on NEIN last year with an Acid-meets-Latinity EP. His brand-new “Mountains & Seas” repeats the formula of its predecessor and showcases the evolution of his sonority which now depicts a higher level of complexity in comparison to his previous works. To prove the point: “First Time” secured a place for Marten on “Nein Ten”, the disputed 10th-anniversary celebratory compilation of the label.

Premiered here, “Powerful Vibes” comes with a naughty and playful aura which invites the audience to the dance floor with a siren-song-like effect. The bouncy bassline sets the tone allied with groovy percussive elements and shards of acid. The speech vocals cannot go unmentioned due to the House-ish vibe it brings to the theme.

Scott Hutchinson is one third of The Fabulous Hutchinson Brothers, a DJ trio from Guildford / UK. He began his career in 1989 and was one of the resident DJs at the notorious WOK club, which initially started life on the top floor of a three storey Chinese restaurant, serving up an eclectic mix of sounds along side free prawn crackers. With a queue that used to snake through the restaurant it soon had to find a new home. Over the years, he has shared the stage with some of the most renowned DJs in the world from Andrew Weatherall to Boy George and most recently warming up for the Orb & Wolfgang Fluer.
Scott has discovered his ideal musical niche as the host of “Feed Your Head” on Kane FM. The show airs every Sunday morning from 11am to 1pm, featuring wonky acid house disco beats with a touch of echo, and guest mixes by some of the finest selectors from all over the globe. Follow:

Two 90s kids united for this one: Coming soon on the might NEIN Records, the result of the collaboration between Pim Secle and Orchid (SXDNS317/FREEDL041). Despite their young age, both have already achieved a certain level of recognition amid the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene, mainly because of their, despite oriented, mixed-genre sonority.

Hailing from Montenegro, Pim Secle has had his works published on interesting outlets such as Nothing Is Real, Sinchi, Save For After Midnight, and Engrave LTD. Paris-based Orchid, in turn, appeared on U’re Guay, ESTHÉTIQUE, Emerald & Doreen, Playground, and Veneno. They now return on NEIN with their "'90's Kids” EP featuring three essential originals and two hot remixes made with love by Bit Marten and Jezebell.

Premiered here, Bit Marten’s take on the title track comes packed with cheerful percussive elements, a corpulent bassline, and groovy synth stabs. Slower and sort of darker in comparison to the original, in the remix the 90’s-vibes were kind of hidden until the moment the sparkling piano layer shows up. At this moment, right there! That’s the right spot! An interesting interpretation of a creative and well-constructed theme.

Soju means "burned liquor", with the first syllable referring to the heat of distillation, and the second to "alcoholic drink" – a clear and colourless Korean distilled beverage usually consumed neat and chilled. It is also the name of the inebriating collaboration between Berny (SXDNS378) & Ludviq coming soon on the mighty NEIN Records. Featuring sturdy remixes by Cosmosolar, Funboys (SXDNS227), and Wonder Talking, the EP comes wrapped in proper groovy darkness devoted to bringing alcoholic frenziness to the dance floor.

The mastermind behind the mixtape series and label In Dark We Trust, Berny has been having a busy 2023 so far with well-received appearances on Phisica, Sapient Robots, Quixotical, Side Up Works, New Day Everyday, and Roam. The founder of Bonkers Records, Ludviq, in turn, has had his outcome published on U’re Guay, Sonido Moderna, Controlla, Kyma Komplex, and also Side Up Works.

Premiered here, Cosmosolar’s magnificent interpretation of the title track distills its intoxicating aura through complex layers and elements drunkenly intertwined that result in an elaborate and knotty cut with an incredibly freaking acid gait. Geonbae!

Cosmosolar is the alterego of the Argentine DJ and producer Alejandro Gamba. He was born in Patagonia Argentina, currently residing in Buenos Aires. He has three tours made through Mexico, Berlin and Barcelona and Chile.
In his productions Cosmosolar lets itself be carried away by the human-machine experience in the creation of musical sequences, with the aim of achieving what you feel on the track. Through solid structures, with a strong rhythmic roughness, melodies, distortions and synthetic dissonances that invite us to a Dystopian Space Techno Disco journey of psychedelia and trance. Climbing and dancing at the frequency that unites the earthly with the cosmos is its essence.
His music is receiving increasing acceptance in the Indie Dance and Melodic Techno scene around the world, managing to be supported several times by Solomun in 2023 with the track “Bandit” released at the end of 2023 by Stil Vor Talent. In 2022, the achievement was charted by the band WhoMadeWho and supported by artists such as Rafael Cerato, Mila Journée, Far&High, Cafius, Lonya, Luke Garcia, etc.
He has released on renowned labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Phisica, Ritual, Nein Records, Beatfreak, Mukke, Dear Deer, Espacio Cielo, Hey, Location!, La Mishka, etc. And he worked in collaboration with artists such as Los Cabras, Ark Nomads, Bad Wolf, Parissior, Mundo D, Roliva, Beating Cells, Amir Telem, etc.
Currently he has begun to manage his own label, Modula Discos, together with local colleagues.
Founded in 2023, Modula is an electronic music label with a unique proposal in the Buenos Aires music scene. His sound aesthetics can be associated with indie dance, dark disco or melodic techno, but the fundamental essence of his music is the conditions of its production: the use of analog synthesizers, sequencers, rhythm machines and other hardware devices that they use the artists that belong to the label to produce and perform their music. That is where Module finds its identity. The sound exploration, the aesthetic search and the time dedicated to these artisan processes of composition and completion of the music differ from the current accelerated processes of electronic production and place the label's participants on the radar of artists who stand out for the use of these instrumentals and the curatorship of said music.
Located in La Plata, Argentina, Modula Discos presents its release number 003, "Que Rico", an EP with two original tracks by Cosmosolar, and two fascinating remixes by Bit Marten and V.C.I.  
Latin vocals, bubbling basslines, acid-dripping synths, that's what you'll find on this EP.

Un vent de révolution souffle sur la dark disco. En effet, Mystery Kid (mysterykidbaker ) ne rentre décidément dans aucune case. Cette DJ et productrice à double facettes repousse toujours plus les BPM de la dark disco, naviguant entre italo musclée, ebm teintée de rock et des kicks break percussifs. Après avoir écumé les grands rendez-vous régionaux incontournables en 2023 tels que le Made Festival (Rennes) et Astropolis (Brest), Mystery Kid part rapidement à la conquête de Paris en se produisant notamment aux festivals We Love Green et Madame Loyal, au fameux club Badaboum, à l'iconique Sacré et en décrochant une résidence à Rinse Fm. Toujours avide de partage, elle a désormais son émission chez Disco Suicide (Berlin) et fait partie du club Radio Vacarme (Bruxelles).
À l’image de sa créatrice, ce set mêlant poésie et mystère ouvre le champs des possibles et vous transporte dans les confins d’un univers où danser sur les comètes devient possible.
