Deep Dub Techno Music - Mastered by SALZ music - Shrink wrapped

The eleventh release of Tiefenrausch sets the start for the third cycle of five deep techno releases. Coming up with a four track EP by Upwellings who contributes his duby “Tales from the Underworld” to the Tiefenrausch catalogue.

With “Echoes From the Past” Upwellings brings the entrance into this musical journey. The immersive groove of “Stones Lullaby” takes us into the deepness of this laid-back dubtechno sound. “When the Lights Fade Away” is the dancefloor focused tune on the B-side of the vinyl while “Hearing the Solar Wind” covers the ambient side of the genre and brings us back to the shore.

The release is designed by Alex Ketzer who joins in for a collaboration with the illustrators Magdalena Paz and Florian Gassmann for the next five releases of the Tiefenrausch label. The audio is mastered by SALZ music and the EP comes shrink wrapped.

Having introduced acts like Theo Kottis, Luttrell and Tontario to the label since launching in early 2016, the Explorations series returns for the third time, welcoming four new artists to Anjunadeep.

Opening the EP is Belgian producer Compuphonic, who has made a name for himself over the past decade with popular releases on Exploited, Get Physical and Turbo. ‘Island Flutter’ sees him at his melodic best, weaving arpeggiated melodies around a warm textured groove.

French duo and Traum Schallplatten affiliates Antoine Rigail and Fabien Garcia a.k.a We Need Cracks debut with ‘Blue Danube’, a favourite from last years iTunes #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 08’ where it was reworked by mixers James Grant & Jody Wisternoff themselves.

Russian talent Modd delivers a stripped back dancefloor moment in ‘Inki’, an intricate blend of delicate soundscapes and subtle melodies.

Closing the EP are UK duo Fluida, fresh from a string of acclaimed releases on Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried imprint. ‘Not Alone’ showcases their impressive multi-instrumentation alongside deft vocals and trademark hangdrum sounds.
