Formed in the quiet shadows of a Yorkshire town, Echo Parade channel the tension and restlessness of growing up with nowhere to go. Their music born from chipped paint, derelict buildings and long walks home after missed chances.

Blending heavy guitars, angular rhythms and retro synths, the band's sound sits somewhere between post-punk urgency and dream pop melancholy. Think of The Cure, Arctic Monkey and Fontaines DC playing a basement gig with Mark Coyle working the mixing desk.

Their sound is a snapshot of disillusioned abandonment: electric, edgy, and always reaching for something just out of frame.

Echo Parade are not trying to be your next favourite band - but they may become the one you go looking for when the nights get too quiet.

We’re a bunch of ukulele chums. After the first lockdown eased we wanted to get together and play some music. We met up in Steve’s garden, mostly and played and filmed a few songs. 
We called ourselves Socially Distant.
We can’t remember why.
Then came “Lockdown 2 - the Winter Approaches” and meeting up was no longer feasible.
So, we tried some ‘remote’ recording and then mixed the tracks on Audible. 
These are the results.
