The purple figure, Miss Violetta Sorrow, was created by Bity to be the mascot of her release. Violetta likes to go bushwalking, cherishes silence and has two magpies as friends. They trust each other and look at the sun rising together, Dreaming in the Morning.

I was walking home one night, near to where I live in South London there is a big church with tall trees. On one of these trees there was a big crow. The crow looked at me, I looked at the crow, and the crow said: 'Caw caw!'. I walked home and wrote this song. Inspired by the night, the people of the night and the crow.

It was written & recorded at home on tape by me.

I have turned this song into an illustrated book which is available to pre-order now on Bandcamp and releases on 16 December 2023, printed on recycled paper features my original illustrations and song lyrics. Ah, there’s also a screen printed tote bag with my original drawing on it.
