Growing up with a steady feed of 80’s & 90’s music from his parents' record collection, KA MO is hard to pin down musically. Inspired by his family’s love for music and with his curiosity for different sounds, KA MO took up collecting, mixing and recording cassettes from the early age of 14.
A few years later, his passion was narrowed down to electronic techno & house music when he discovered Beirut’s underground techno scene. The scene grew steadily and so did his love for this genre.
KA MO wanted to share his passion and began playing in underground basement parties and small alternative clubs, looking for the niche crowd that personified this genre and era. Over the years, the techno and house culture exploded placing Beirut as one of the party capitals of the world. KA MO grew with it and expanded his skill set, venturing into writing and producing music. He is now considered a fundamental part of Beirut’s nightlife and clubbing scene catering to both party-goers and musicians alike.
Throughout his career he has played along icons in the industry including Anthony Papa, Dave Seaman, Satoshi Tomiie, Kintar, Wez Deval, Lee Burridge, Tarkan, Claudia and P Toile among others.
KA MO’s latest album was released internationally by Ready Mix Records in 2016 and plans for exciting new productions in the year ahead.
