This one goes into the hardcore realm with some '93 tracks from the likes of Foul Play, Johnny Jungle and Intense, before moving into some mid 90s smooth drum and bass styles.

We told you that Congo Natty aka Rebel MC was more than a legend and now it's time to prove it. For your listening pleasure the one and only Uncle Dugs (Rinse FM) has compiled a mix that takes the listener all the way through Mikail Tafari's career, from the early Rebel MC & Double Trouble days right up to the last few years. 

Seventy eight minutes charting the birth and development of Jungle, the mix works as a perfect taster for the forthcoming Congo Natty opus, "Jungle Revolution." For those who don't know, Bizzy B's Brain label was one of the most futuristic in the early days when hardcore was becoming jungle. From 92-94 they released some of the best junglistic'ardcore there was. Classics like Darkness, Weekend, Dubplate Wars, 2 Dope ep, and artists like TDK whose TOG sublabel was a peak of amen choppage). Brain also put out the debut releases of Marc Caro (Technical Itch), Peshay and DJ Zinc (in the Swift and Zinc eps) and Slammin' Vinyl's Mike Slammer and Red Alert's first 2 releases. Bizzy also released many a classic on other labels such as Slowjam & DarkIII on Whitehouse, Stamina and Raw Dogs Relik on Suburban Base and many more. He's recently been producing 2-step and Breaks with his Undercover Agents label and still releases drum'n'bass under "Warped Science" (latest being 'After F' on Charge with DJ Fresh on the same ep). Brian's ep for us is a new update of the Old Skool sound "New Old School" if you will. Using todays production values so it'll kick in a drum'n'bass set in 04. As played by Andy C, Bailey et al...
