A 2020 Hampton Graduate with a Bachelor’s in Music Recording Technology. I come from Jacksonville, Florida coming out of Maryland.

I got the name scUba at an Open Mic after doing one of poems at The Train Station in Newport News, VA.

I emphasize on the ‘U’ because of how I want to produce something my audience can have a feel for. My inspiration in my art would be in Hip Hop, Storytelling Rap and R&B. I want to capture the vibe that artist like OutKast, Slick Rick and Nate Dogg successfully were able to do and go mainstream. Once I do, I want to not only continue making music back give back to everyone that invested their time & money to me. From funding all the music organizations on Hampton University’s campus (Choir, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble & Recording Studio), which currently isn’t being funded, to continuing XXXTentacion’s ‘Helping Hands Challenge’ before he passed.
