Lexy Luz is an artist set apart.  She propels excellence into her music ministering to listeners. Her calling and anointing is to bring Christian hip-hop to a completely new arena. With musical content akin to female artists such as—Lauryn Hill, Jean Grae, and Eternia, she encompasses a unique draw to audiences. The spoken word in her vocals incorporated with rap, gives her a raw, transparent edge that many enjoy. Engaging in hip-hop culture has not only been a journey, but an awakening of her calling. Luz intertwines the Gospel message with personal life experiences that are so relevant,  anyone may relate to them. Currently she is hard at work on her upcoming EP do out this year. The project mirrors the trickle effects of a life surrendered to obedience in Christ. This indeed ultimately has a dynamic and eternal impact in the lives of others and the world when walking out your God given potential. She began her musical journey in early 2011 under the mentorship of singer/songwriter/producer Jonathan ”JUK” Krotov.  In 2013, she made a decision to walk this out  with everything in her to invest long term. Today she is working with many great artists in the San Diego area spreading the love of hip-hop in a positive way.  Lexy  also focuses on encouraging young woman with her message teaching them that life changes for the best when the mind is set on the one and only Hope—Jesus Christ.
