On this day in 2001, U2 played the United Center in Chicago, IL.

I chose 'Stay (Faraway, So Close!)', because I don’t think I’ve ever included it in one of these “on this day” posts, and this is one of the best live versions available. The sound quality is great, and Bono invited a fan to play with them. It was a fun moment.
