Chant along with me! Mantra heals the mind. I’m here to show folks that creating a chanting practice is simple. You don’t have to chant 108 times at one go, you don’t have to chant for half an hour, or be in a quiet relaxing moment in a special room, or have any kind of setup with things like scented candles and no one else making noise. I share my chanting practices recorded while driving, hiking, and walking my dog, to help folks overcome obstacles to accessing this incredible healing for the mind. It’s simple! Daily chanting brings healing. Consistent chanting brings healing. Chant daily and be kind to yourself. It’s a practice, not a perfection. 

I share here the joy and power of healing through music and sound, in the context of Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) with guided practices in my lineage of Vedic Shaiva Tantra through the Sakya lineage of Tibet, and Vedic healing therapies of mantra chanting called Mantra Chikitsa. I am a registered clinical practitioner of Ayurvedic Medicine and certified Jyotishi (Vedic Astrologer). I studied Mantra Chikitsa with a Vedic Pandit for 3 years to learn the musical medicine of sound healing with mantra.

I’m also a trained opera singer. I’ve been a singer/musician all my life, beginning to play piano at age 4 and then adding violin, French horn, and guitar as I went through school. I’m lucky in that I can quickly learn to play any instrument put in front of me, so I play lots of other instruments by now, and I’m also lazy about it. I could practice more. I love singing, chanting, mixing musical genres, and songs in 6/8 time.
