Embedded in Australia’s music scene. Arya's DJ and audio production journey began in 2015. Her passion for psychedelic culture quickly propelled her into the spotlight alongside renowned artists. Since then, she has performed at major festivals around the world, including Mo:Dem, Earth Frequency, Elements, Esoteric, Dragon Dreaming, Splendour in the Grass, Wild Horses, Antigravity, Twisted Frequency and more.

Arya has evolved with a keen appreciation for deep frequencies, cheeky bass-lines, intricate percussion and complex rhythms. She is known for versatility, seamlessly blending elements of darkness, light, hypnotic and playful, crafting sets that are not only captivating but also carry a staunch and heavy intensity, adding powerful depth that draws listeners in.

DJ BARFLY presents Frequency of Becoming — a sonic journey through transformation. “Becoming is not a destination. It’s a frequency — shifting, evolving, pulsing through silence and sound. This mix reflects who I am, and who we are: dancers at the edge, growing in the dark, resonating across cultures. We are not fixed identities. We are frequencies in motion.” BARFLY (Wei-Hsiang Fan) is a sonic explorer and DJ from Taiwan, born in 1984 and active in the electronic music scene since 2002. Known for his energetic sets and hypnotic soundscapes, he’s become a key figure in Taiwan’s psychedelic trance movement.  Starting out in bars and clubs, Barfly’s sound evolved into a powerful form of Full On Psytrance, blending emotional depth with driving rhythms. His early sets spanned Electro and Breakbeat, but it was his breakthrough performance at EarthFest 2011 that earned him national acclaim — and the nickname “Mr. PsyBreaks.”  Today, his performances merge traditional motifs with cutting-edge synthesis, creating immersive, high-energy dance floor experiences that pulse with raw, primal force.

This time, Kafka Temp invites you on a deep and twisted journey into psytechno—CUBEX-style. This exclusive set was recorded in the Biel/Bienne studio shared with Cubex’s production partner and close friend, Eric Schaich. Swiss-born Cubex discovered his passion for electronic music early on and began DJing at 17. His sound evolved through years of performing at local and national events, launching his own event series, and co-founding the Drum & Bass label Perkussiv Music.  In 2010, he stepped back from promoting to focus fully on production. The result? A distinctive fusion of energetic House and Techno with dark, hypnotic atmospheres inspired by Psytrance and Drum & Bass. He defines it as deep and twisted Psy-Techno.  With over 200 tracks released across more than 30 respected labels—including Zenon Records, AlpaKa Musik, Techgnosis, miniMahlzeit, Copycow, and Lethal Dose—Cubex continues to build international recognition, with bookings at festivals and gigs around the globe.

The Creative Universe of Björn Olsson**

**A Journey Through Sound and Vision**  
Nestled in the vibrant city of Gothenburg on Sweden's enchanting west coast, Björn Olsson is a visionary artist who has made waves in the music and art scenes since the mid-90s. His first foray into the rave culture began with crafting dazzling UV backdrops for psytrance parties, quickly earning him recognition among fellow producers. Björn's mesmerizing artworks have adorned EPs, compilations, and album covers, showcasing his talent in blending visual art with auditory experiences.

**Legendary Roots in the Underground**  
As the founder of the iconic Trolltyg forest parties (2001-2008), Björn has shaped Sweden's underground rave landscape. This pioneering event transformed into a legendary gathering that continued to draw crowds, hosting renowned artists from both the psytrance and techno realms. Trolltyg wasn't just a party; it's was a cultural phenomenon, steeped in the spirit of community and music.

**Musical Evolution**  
In 2003, Björn launched his music career under the name DIFFUS, embracing the essence of old-school Goa and psytrance with a fresh, progressive twist. Over the years, his sound evolved into a captivating Dark Progressive and Forest Progressive style, pulsating between 136-142 BPM and seamlessly blending into the realms of forest psy and psytech.

In 2015, Björn expanded his creative repertoire with his second project, BEORN. This endeavor began as an exploration of experimental sounds using hardware synths and drum machines. With no genre constraints, the project initially embraced a lower BPM, allowing Björn to carve out his unique sonic landscape. The result? A genre-defying blend of 120-132BPM progressive House and peaktimeTechno infused with progressive psy vibes. 
His debut EP, 
*BEORN - HyperAcusis*,
 hit the shelves on April 20, 2024, under PsyGnosis Records, solidifying his place in the music scene.
and he is now working on an album aimed for a release in fall of 2025

**Collaborative Endeavors: SMUTS**  
In the spring of 2024, BEORN joined forces with fellow producer M!ST to create the duo project SMUTS (meaning Filth/Grime/Dirt). This collaboration ventures into the realm of harder and darker techno, with their electrifying remix of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" becoming an instant dancefloor anthem. Fans can eagerly anticipate their upcoming debut EP
