"Never Odd or Even" - a palindromic mantra that perfectly encapsulates BMSS Records' holistic and now legendary approach to Psychedelic Trance.

Label head and chief pilot Boom Shankar presents the mind-altering conceptual double compilation project "Ailihphilia" (meaning a love for palindromes - words you can read forwards and backwards). Reflecting the label's dark/light dichotomy, LEVEL I is the "Moon side“, featuring a heavy psychedelic vibe; the forthcoming LEVEL II is the "Sun side“ featuring more trance-oriented anthems. 

Together they form a jaw-dropping 4-hour collection: one project, one journey, one narrative - a mirror of our souls, and a reflection of the deep psychedelic realms of the human psyche.

From the deep to the uplifting, old school to new school, EU sound to US sound, this monolithic trip spans every aspect of the Psychedelic Trance scene, and crucially gives the involved artists an opportunity to showcase the full spectrum of their sound by featuring several tracks within the project.

In this sense, Ailihphilia is a true reflection, a mirror, of BMSS' unique modus operandi - an approach that unifies both established artists and legends with new talents and up-and-coming artists, an international crew of producers, DJs and other misfits who fly in the face traditional sub-genre boundaries, focusing instead on true creativity and a profound dancefloor experience.

LEVEL I is constructed in a similarly mirrored fashion: building up and climaxing, before concluding in the smoothest of landings. After all, what goes up has to come down!

The ambitious project is wrapped-up with a similarly holistic approach and attention to detail. Micky Noise (aka Wizzy Noise) at Plus Six Mastering applies his trademark analogue techniques to ensure a consistent balance and maximum sonic impact. 

On the design front, Miro Moric aka Sketch inc. has delivered two unique custom-made covers which perfectly encapsulate the concept.

With Boom Shankar at the helm, BMSS Records once again push the boundaries of the Psychedelic Trance scene whilst firmly acknowledging its roots...an approach perfectly encapsulated by the palindromic mantra “Never Odd or Even".

Happy New Year dear music lovers from all parts of the World! Let the most daring dreams of yours come true!

We decided to commence this year with utterly underground and psychedelic at the same time release - EP " Nomadic Tribe" by George Asterelman (Moscow, Russia) and his out-of-this-world project ASTRAL.

This debut release George dedicated to one of the all-time greatest, the star, who shone us like a Crazy Dimond - to Victor Zolod (RIP) aka Paranoic Sensation, Terminator, Freaking, Burned Processor, and more...
We arranged the release date to 6 January - the most tragic date, when Zolod, our beloved musician and a good friend, left us forever.

This EP contains a remix on the fabulous morning track of Victor called Air Symphony. The original was made about 17 years back and, undoubtedly, used to be a super hit at the time. We are happy to give that track a new life as well as to simply release one more track of Zolod, whose tracks we used to release since the very very first release of Vertigo Records (VA-Timeless Flash, Terminator- Remedy), and which we continued to do even after he passed away 6 January 2006 (Dejavu Fabrique, The Meaning of Life, Vertigo All Around.)

So, hold on to your hats and get ready to listen to ASTRAL with debut EP- Nomadic Tribe.

The Creative Universe of Björn Olsson**

**A Journey Through Sound and Vision**  
Nestled in the vibrant city of Gothenburg on Sweden's enchanting west coast, Björn Olsson is a visionary artist who has made waves in the music and art scenes since the mid-90s. His first foray into the rave culture began with crafting dazzling UV backdrops for psytrance parties, quickly earning him recognition among fellow producers. Björn's mesmerizing artworks have adorned EPs, compilations, and album covers, showcasing his talent in blending visual art with auditory experiences.

**Legendary Roots in the Underground**  
As the founder of the iconic Trolltyg forest parties (2001-2008), Björn has shaped Sweden's underground rave landscape. This pioneering event transformed into a legendary gathering that continued to draw crowds, hosting renowned artists from both the psytrance and techno realms. Trolltyg wasn't just a party; it's was a cultural phenomenon, steeped in the spirit of community and music.

**Musical Evolution**  
In 2003, Björn launched his music career under the name DIFFUS, embracing the essence of old-school Goa and psytrance with a fresh, progressive twist. Over the years, his sound evolved into a captivating Dark Progressive and Forest Progressive style, pulsating between 136-142 BPM and seamlessly blending into the realms of forest psy and psytech.

In 2015, Björn expanded his creative repertoire with his second project, BEORN. This endeavor began as an exploration of experimental sounds using hardware synths and drum machines. With no genre constraints, the project initially embraced a lower BPM, allowing Björn to carve out his unique sonic landscape. The result? A genre-defying blend of 120-132BPM progressive House and peaktimeTechno infused with progressive psy vibes. 
His debut EP, 
*BEORN - HyperAcusis*,
 hit the shelves on April 20, 2024, under PsyGnosis Records, solidifying his place in the music scene.
and he is now working on an album aimed for a release in fall of 2025

**Collaborative Endeavors: SMUTS**  
In the spring of 2024, BEORN joined forces with fellow producer M!ST to create the duo project SMUTS (meaning Filth/Grime/Dirt). This collaboration ventures into the realm of harder and darker techno, with their electrifying remix of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" becoming an instant dancefloor anthem. Fans can eagerly anticipate their upcoming debut EP
