Next up on Insomnia Records series is Greek producer, KAOS, who has released his long-awaited first album “Students Of Anthropology” in February.

Dimitris Papapavlos aka Kaos is a psychedelic trance music producer born in Greece.Motivated and inspired by the psychedelic trance parties and culture sincethe middle 90’s,he started exploring the world of computer music in 2004.His first track as Kaos was released in 2008 by Goanmantra records. In 2012 Goanmantra records released a collaboration album of Kaos and Stranger “Strange Kaos – Above the World”, and in 2018 Insomnia records released the first solo album of Kaos ” Students of Anthropology”.More of the music labels featuring Kaos tracks are :Discovalley rec., Parvati rec., Agartha rec., Omveda rec., Temple Twister rec., Seraaphaana rec., Alice-D rec. and others.Kaos appears also in collaborations with artists like Stranger (as Strange Kaos),Polyphonia (as Polykaos) and more.

What can be said about a producer who takes his feelings and introspections about a broken world and turns them into an expressive art form that is almost like a painting made with electronic sounds. In his own words, Egon’s Embrace wants “to produce something that takes him someplace otherworldly” and we at Sangoma are entranced to self-indulge into Egon’s personal catharsis. “A Little Larger Than The Entire Universe” is an experimental psychedelic oddity, full of lush sonic landscapes and melodies that are at once beautiful and dark. It is an intriguing invitation for the audience, as its music shape aesthetic experience into engaging electronic aural event with layer upon layer of subtlety. 

The nine tracks on the album shape a dark sonic descent into a netherworld of life amidst love, joy, depression and an ever-evolving landscape of human life marked by encounters with others. Egon’s Embrace succeeds in giving us yet another interplay between dreamy, melodic and yet dark electronic psychedelic music. As everything he has ever done, this release has more ways of finding and seeing profound beauty in the despair and agony that often surround us. In order to visually accompany Egon’s musical vision, art cover has been made by established Polish painter Leszek Kostuj whose understanding of art as an everlasting metamorphosis of our grasp of reality is a perfect companion to the album complex narrative. Thanks to Ady “Scorb” Connor, a highly regarded mastering engineer, tracks are ready to embrace you and share with you pieces of Egon’s (in)sanity. We are thrilled to invite you to witness with us evolution, creativity, and inspiring psychedelic experience of a unique producer whose music is definitely outside “of the box”. **A Journey Through Sound and Vision**  
Nestled in the vibrant city of Gothenburg on Sweden's enchanting west coast, Björn Olsson is a visionary artist who has made waves in the music and art scenes since the mid-90s. His first foray into the rave culture began with crafting dazzling UV backdrops for psytrance parties, quickly earning him recognition among fellow producers. Björn's mesmerizing artworks have adorned EPs, compilations, and album covers, showcasing his talent in blending visual art with auditory experiences.

**Legendary Roots in the Underground**  
As the founder of the iconic Trolltyg forest parties (2001-2008), Björn has shaped Sweden's underground rave landscape. This pioneering event transformed into a legendary gathering that continued to draw crowds, hosting renowned artists from both the psytrance and techno realms. Trolltyg wasn't just a party; it's was a cultural phenomenon, steeped in the spirit of community and music.

**Musical Evolution**  
In 2003, Björn launched his music career under the name DIFFUS, embracing the essence of old-school Goa and psytrance with a fresh, progressive twist. Over the years, his sound evolved into a captivating Dark Progressive and Forest Progressive style, pulsating between 136-142 BPM and seamlessly blending into the realms of forest psy and psytech.

In 2015, Björn expanded his creative repertoire with his second project, BEORN. This endeavor began as an exploration of experimental sounds using hardware synths and drum machines. With no genre constraints, the project initially embraced a lower BPM, allowing Björn to carve out his unique sonic landscape. The result? A genre-defying blend of 120-132BPM progressive House and peaktimeTechno infused with progressive psy vibes. 
His debut EP, 
*BEORN - HyperAcusis*,
 hit the shelves on April 20, 2024, under PsyGnosis Records, solidifying his place in the music scene.
and he is now working on an album aimed for a release in fall of 2025

**Collaborative Endeavors: SMUTS**  
In the spring of 2024, BEORN joined forces with fellow producer M!ST to create the duo project SMUTS (meaning Filth/Grime/Dirt). This collaboration ventures into the realm of harder and darker techno, with their electrifying remix of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" becoming an instant dancefloor anthem. Fans can eagerly anticipate their upcoming debut EP
