✦ The Low Down ✦

Been eager to have this talented producer - Platypuss on the SixthSense SoundCast series.. So we're stoked to have landed his live recording from the recently concluded Tanglewood Festival, held over the NYE weekend in Victoria. 

Platypuss has been on a steady rise through the bush-prog scene, with a recent release on Weapon Records garnering a lot of support. His sound can be best described as old school Aussie doof trance, with traces of tech and a whole lot of goey that glues it all together. 

Pop this on and get absolutely pumped up..

This radiOzora mix celebrates KLIPSUN's debut on Stone Seed with his track “The Freak IA”, opening the Seed: Infra mini-compilation out July 18th. In this exclusive live set, Klipsun showcases his signature psytechno sound, with a touch of his hybrid progressive style. KLIPSUN is the project of Brazilian producer Lucas Bonatto, known for his deep, cinematic take on electronic music. His breakthrough came in 2015 with Ambivalent Fields on Zenon Records, earning support from artists like Sensient and Ace Ventura. Blending hypnotic sound design with rich harmonies, his music spans psytrance, progressive, and experimental styles. In Brazil, he’s known for his immersive sets with DM7, and in 2022, he co-founded CronoCops, releasing the acclaimed album Who Built It?. Now signed to Iboga Records and IbogaTech, Klipsun is preparing his debut solo album for 2025, marking 10 years of innovation in electronic music.

Airi Live @ Alchemy Circle - Boom Festival 2025

(en français ci-dessous) A long journey from deep and loving organic dowtempo house up to psytech, crossing indie dance and prog house realms in the middle. That was played in the mountains for wonderful Silouane 30th birthday in a mini festival that was a curation of all kind of artists at top of their craft <3 . The recording missed about 40 minutes of music in the middle, and one of my favourite part, very heart-felt. I guess you had to be there. So i made fade-ins and out to mark the change.

Un long voyage, de la deep et émotionnelle house downtempo organique jusqu’à la psytech, en traversant au passage les royaumes de l’indie dance et de la progressive house. Cela a été joué dans les montagnes pour les 30 ans de la merveilleuse Silouane, lors d’un mini-festival qui rassemblait des artistes de tous horizons, chacun au sommet de son art <3.

L’enregistrement a malheureusement perdu environ 40 minutes de musique au milieu, dont une de mes parties préférées, très chargée en émotions. J’imagine qu’il fallait être là pour le vivre. J’ai donc ajouté des fade-in et fade-out pour marquer la coupure.

The Creative Universe of Björn Olsson**

**A Journey Through Sound and Vision**  
Nestled in the vibrant city of Gothenburg on Sweden's enchanting west coast, Björn Olsson is a visionary artist who has made waves in the music and art scenes since the mid-90s. His first foray into the rave culture began with crafting dazzling UV backdrops for psytrance parties, quickly earning him recognition among fellow producers. Björn's mesmerizing artworks have adorned EPs, compilations, and album covers, showcasing his talent in blending visual art with auditory experiences.

**Legendary Roots in the Underground**  
As the founder of the iconic Trolltyg forest parties (2001-2008), Björn has shaped Sweden's underground rave landscape. This pioneering event transformed into a legendary gathering that continued to draw crowds, hosting renowned artists from both the psytrance and techno realms. Trolltyg wasn't just a party; it's was a cultural phenomenon, steeped in the spirit of community and music.

**Musical Evolution**  
In 2003, Björn launched his music career under the name DIFFUS, embracing the essence of old-school Goa and psytrance with a fresh, progressive twist. Over the years, his sound evolved into a captivating Dark Progressive and Forest Progressive style, pulsating between 136-142 BPM and seamlessly blending into the realms of forest psy and psytech.

In 2015, Björn expanded his creative repertoire with his second project, BEORN. This endeavor began as an exploration of experimental sounds using hardware synths and drum machines. With no genre constraints, the project initially embraced a lower BPM, allowing Björn to carve out his unique sonic landscape. The result? A genre-defying blend of 120-132BPM progressive House and peaktimeTechno infused with progressive psy vibes. 
His debut EP, 
*BEORN - HyperAcusis*,
 hit the shelves on April 20, 2024, under PsyGnosis Records, solidifying his place in the music scene.
and he is now working on an album aimed for a release in fall of 2025

**Collaborative Endeavors: SMUTS**  
In the spring of 2024, BEORN joined forces with fellow producer M!ST to create the duo project SMUTS (meaning Filth/Grime/Dirt). This collaboration ventures into the realm of harder and darker techno, with their electrifying remix of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" becoming an instant dancefloor anthem. Fans can eagerly anticipate their upcoming debut EP
