Le Castle Vania has made his film scoring debut in the high energy fight scenes of Lionsgate’s recently released action thriller, John Wick starring Keanu Reeves. The recently released action packed film made it's debut this past weekend landing at number 2 on the box office charts and scoring a whopping 86% on the highly popular, film review aggregator website, Rotten Tomatoes.

Le Castle Vania contributed several pieces of original music written specifically for various high energy scenes in the film. The film score to John Wick also contains works from longtime LCV collaborators Tyler Bates and Joel Richards. All of these new pieces of music are available now on the soundtrack to John Wick. We highly recommend also checking out the film in theaters to get the full big screen experience! Enjoy!

Back at our mammoth Stay True Scotland broadcast earlier this month, one track came real close to bringing The Caves' roof down during Nina Kraviz's powerhouse headline set. "I Wanna Go Bang" very nearly executed its titular statement – well, if the song was more about wrecking balls and less about...oh, never mind.

The vocals that stalk the track, so wholly devoid of humanity, rub up against razor-sharp claps and serious bounce in the subs. It's weighty warehouse techno of the highest order, set to devastate dark basements and big tents alike throughout the year. Simply put: Icelandic producer Bjarki has delivered a bomb.

Serving as the primary source for Klangkuenstler's demonic productions, the Berlin label Outworld is by now a go-to for driving, industrial-strength techno with a penchant for firy hooks and hellishly atmospheric soundscapes. On catalogue number 005, Klangkuenstler orchestrates a dynamic tension between rock-hard underworld grooves and transcendental ascension, as implied by its title 'Himmelreich'.

The A1 of the same name pointedly encapsulates this age-old pull between dark and light within the wicked waltz of a punchy power-beat and a sugary, elevating synth lead: imagine the devil knocking on heaven's door. Next up, the gnarly scrap-metal fuzz, insidious pads and trademark poetic spoken-word of 'Alte Zeit' reject relief for something altogether more vicious – yet no less fulfilling. 'Jugend Ohne Gott', the EP's grand closer, also carries a captivating duality in its heart. Schon in den frühen 90ern erwacht in Björn die Liebe zu Techno. Seine mitreissenden und treibenden Sets machen ihn bald im Rhein-Main-Gebiet bekannt. Nach einer längeren Pause und Neustart 2009 konzentriert sich Björn im Jahr 2015 mehr auf's produzieren und feiert im Jahr 2016 seine ersten Erfolge sowohl mit Originalen als auch Remixen für seine Kollegen. Releases auf Nachtwandler, Hardwandler, District Underground, Techno Terror Records, Oxytech Records,Finder Records, Dreizehn Schallplatten, Red Walls uvm. folgten und er feierte diverse Erfolge in den Beatport Charts und anderer bekannter Downloadportale. 2019 tritt er dem bekannten Berliner Label und Booking-Agentur Ragnarok bei. Sein mittlerweile darker und härterer Sound findet immer mehr begeisterte Anhänger.
2020 werden wir noch einiges von ihm zu hören bekommen
