Der heutige Podcast gebührt dem DJ und Produzenten Duo 8288, die auf unserer letzten Veranstaltung im Helios die Bude zum Glühen brachten. Hinter 8288 stecken zwei besonders talentierte Künstler, die eine tiefe musikalische Verbundenheit teilen. Veröffentlichungen auf Labels, wie Subvision & Prospect Records, schmücken ihr Portfolio. Auf unzähligen Veranstaltungen durfte man sie schon erleben. Clubs, wie das Odonien, die Elektroküche und das Helios37 wissen die Musik von 8288 bereits überaus zu schätzen. Wir bedanken uns herzlich für dieses atemberaubende Live-Set und wünschen ihnen weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Marvin Rau's Musikgeschmack ist sehr vielfältig und breit gefächert. In jungen Jahren hörte er Deutschrap, sowie 80´s/90´s und auch Phasen von Hardcore waren dabei. Anfang 2010 führte sein Weg mehr und mehr zu einschlägigen Partys, auch als Technoszene bekannt. In dieser Zeit stolperte er über alte Bekannte, die bereits Techno produzierten und dadurch wurde seine Neugier geweckt, selbst Musik zu produzieren. Das Gefühl per Knopfdruck den gewaltigen Sound zu steuern, hat ihn sofort elektrisiert.

Jeff Mills’ “The Bells” is one of the most iconic tracks in techno history, often called the genre’s anthem. Known for its hypnotic bell melody, driving kick, and euphoric build, it became a staple in DJ sets worldwide. The track was first played live by Mills in 1995 (e.g., at Liquid Room in Tokyo), but it wasn’t officially released until 1997 as part of the Kat Moda EP on his Purpose Maker label. Schon in den frühen 90ern erwacht in Björn die Liebe zu Techno. Seine mitreissenden und treibenden Sets machen ihn bald im Rhein-Main-Gebiet bekannt. Nach einer längeren Pause und Neustart 2009 konzentriert sich Björn im Jahr 2015 mehr auf's produzieren und feiert im Jahr 2016 seine ersten Erfolge sowohl mit Originalen als auch Remixen für seine Kollegen. Releases auf Nachtwandler, Hardwandler, District Underground, Techno Terror Records, Oxytech Records,Finder Records, Dreizehn Schallplatten, Red Walls uvm. folgten und er feierte diverse Erfolge in den Beatport Charts und anderer bekannter Downloadportale. 2019 tritt er dem bekannten Berliner Label und Booking-Agentur Ragnarok bei. Sein mittlerweile darker und härterer Sound findet immer mehr begeisterte Anhänger.
2020 werden wir noch einiges von ihm zu hören bekommen
