"Minor Turns" is an original composition by tenor saxophonist/flutist Bob Franceschini and the sixth track on vibraphonist Mark Sherman's new CD "Project Them."

Out October 15, 2013 on Miles High Records.

"Project Them" features Sherman with Franceschini on tenor sax/flute, Mitchel Forman on piano and Hammond B3 organ, Martin Gjakonovoski on bass and Adam Nussbaum on drums. Pianist Paolo di Sabatino plays instead of Mitchel Forman on several tracks, though not this one.

Minor Turns - Project Them

"Circle In a Square" is the title track from vocalist Lauren Kinhan's new CD, out January 7, 2014 on Dotted i Records.

The CD, her third solo album, features Kinhan with a cast of masters including Randy Brecker, Romero Lubambo, Donny McCaslin, Joel Frahm, and Gary Versace.

"Never Sleeps" is the opening track from vibraphonist Tyler Blanton's new CD "Gotham."

Out April 22 on Ottimo Music.

All six compositions on the CD are Blanton originals. His band includes Donny McCaslin on tenor saxophone, Matt Clohesy on electric and acoustic bass, and Nate Wood on drums.

Never Sleeps - Tyler Blanton

"Nuvem" is an original composition by vocalist Sara Serpa off of her new album "Primavera" with guitarist André Matos. Serpa plays piano on three songs, including this one.

The Buffalo - Felipe Salles

"Gen Himmel" (German for "toward heaven") is a spiritually meditative composition by pianist Satoko Fujii off of her new album, "Shiki," with the Satoko Fujii Orchestra New York. Originally recorded as the title track to Fujii's 2013 solo CD, the piece is dedicated to Norikatsu Koreyasu, the bassist in Satoko's ma-do quartet who died unexpectedly in 2011.

After a long hiatus, my alter ego Noble Barrister has re-emerged - jolted into action by the intensity of 2020 and the urgency of the election - to write and record the rock song “Enough!”  May the song, and the cathartic scream of five simultaneous electric guitar solos towards the end of the track, be of benefit to all!
