"BKHSVA004 features six tracks from artists that connect with our sound. Benabou
kicks off the compilation with a slow, experimental techno track filled with pads, small
accents, and delays. Ponygirl follows up with a groovy tune called “Morast” – a name
that perfectly fits the mind-melting textures and soaking bass. KIPPE and label head
Bekkler join forces once again, bringing maximum energy compressed into audio
format with their track “Bite” – tasteful distortion meets polyrhythm and occasional
atmospheric pads. “Contention” by Absolet brings a tooly yet ever-changing track to
the VA, characterized foremost by a pounding heavy kick drum, a groovy minimalistic
melody, and the very playful use of room and percussions. Closing the
full-on techno section of the release is Vladimihir with the allout bomb “Spirit Realm” consisting of tense pads, driving shaky hats,
and a relentless low-end. The cherry on top is brought by Jack’s
Trip, who manages to merge infinity-level watery textures, a
bassline pulling you into the void, accompanied by nostalgic pads
and even a small saxophone solo in his “It’s Cold Outside”. Enjoy the ride and see
you in the strobe light"
