This track is taken from Sternlumen's self-titled debut album ”Sternlumen”.
 
The album is the culmination of a number of concerts Sternlumen has played in recent years - concerts where he has gradually developed his expression and compositions. The album is recorded live and as such it perfectly captures the intimacy and presence of Sternlumen's beautiful concerts.

Fragile.

When I was improvising this piece of music it almost felt like an extension of how I was feeling in that moment.

People have commented that it reminds them of a child playing with an old music box.

" Composing & playing the piano for me is a form of meditation. A piece just starts with a single note or simple melody. I try not to control anything and just let the idea flow. When I play on a piano I haven’t played before, it takes me some time to become acquainted with the instrument before ideas and patterns start to appear – it’s almost as though the piano dictates what it wants me to play "
