After a bit of a forced break I was super happy to play this short set at Funkloch and get to break out some newly found tracks. It was a ton of fun!

Random Strange Exercise - Day 6 - TACTUS TEMPUS in Quadraphonic sound

I know ppl liked it, and I'm not saying it was a bad track, but for whatever reason, for me, my track a few days ago, "This ol' House" just didn't properly scratch the house itch.

So. When I came across this drum loop, I knew immediately that I was going to do another house track. I had a bit more gas in the tank for this one, so there are a lot more bells and whistles, and I just generally feel more satisfied with it. Enjoy!

Made for the Beatport Producer Challenge (https://join.landr.com/beatport-producer-challenge/). This track is Regular Matrix encoded Quadraphonic using QUARK (http://QUARK.CyKiK.com).

The Backboard

I breathed in a Moog Spectravox, and focused on sounds with noise to create a windy outdoors atmosphere.

I used a Moog Spectravox, and I breathed into the microphone, and also used the non vocoder part, this voice was sent to a Koma Electronik Poltergeist for quadraphonic rendering, I also use a Buchla 208C sent to a  Make Noise morphagene and clouds, and finally to the poltergeist. There is also an harmonic shift Oscilator from my friend from New System Instruments sent via a filter to a Shakmat Seeds and mixer. Everything is recorded in quadraphonics via a dual stereo Intelijel audio interface to Logic Pro, and monitored on 4 speakers.

This is my submission for dublab's "Make Music in Space", to create immersive quadraphonic work utilizing cykik's QUARK (Quadraphonic Universally Accessible Resource Kit). The software tool enables the encoding, decoding, and distribution of four-channel audio. Exciting!

I've also been really inspired by @koan-sound's Patreon tutorials lately, so here's me being a little more experimental. Enjoy!
