1Forty captures the authenticity of the UK's best underground genres, by showcasing established and upcoming talent, whilst engineering its own sound and identity through the music we release and showcase. Grime, Bass, Garage & UK Funky.

On the 21st October 2016 1Forty launched at one of the biggest nightclub brands in the country.. Mint, Leeds. Welcoming @CausenAffect, @ChampionDJ & @SkepsisProducer. NU-CYPHER is an audio / visual experience surrounding a cyberpunk world set in the near future. In the NU-CYPHER universe humans and androids can’t be distinguished from one another and the general population spends much of it’s time plugged into the META style multiverse known as NU-EDEN. Stories of love, betrayal, androids, and cyborgs create rich narratives to live alongside NU-CYPHER’s unique sonic landscapes. 

  The NU-CYPHER sound centers around hard-hitting bass and future bass music merged with emotional melodies and infectious hooks. Already showcasing multiple performances for dance music powerhouse INSOMNIAC, the brand has been endorsed from many of the industries top tastemakers.
