I just want to take a minute to thank you for downloading my latest project “Numbers”. The inspiration for this mixtape came from my hunger to change “the industry”. Everybody told me I would not be able to create conscious music and be successful, that I would need to dumb down my lyrics in order to sell.

For a moment I believed them…

I decided to create a lane for other artists who are to afraid to step outside the box and speak their truth. I could no longer sit aside and let the world tell me how I should create.

I used to hold so much resistance to the industry standard for what hip hop should be, I now understand the balance that is at play. There is a time and a place for everything, but for me, as stated before, I need to speak my truth.

This mixtape is the representation of the good and evil in our industry. The spiritual nature of our existence, while also realizing the real evils of this world, and accepting both to create a balanced and loving reality.
