The latest package to drop on the Black Butter doorstep is the DEVolution - "Arrival" EP: a classic three track affair with both barrels aimed squarely at the dance floor. 

Leading the way is My Friends, a track which started life as a bit of fun but soon became a viable single in its own right, with heavy support from 1Xtra's MistaJam and Radio 1's Annie Mac. The inclusion of two extra tracks makes this a weighty EP fully introducing DEVolution as a solid new production duo.

Big radio support also coming coming from DJ Target, Trevor Nelson, Monki and B. Traits.

DEVolution's "Arrival" EP is available now to download for free at 192kbps with the option to download 320kbps & WAV versions on the forthcoming Spread Love Compilation Vol.2.

It's time for the Black Butter Spread Love Compilation Vol.2

The compilation features remixes from Woz, Two Inch Punch & Baunz of Rudimental's imminently legendary "Spoons", My Nu Leng's three tracks which are being dropped all over the place at peak-time raves and DEVolution's jump up tune "Listen to the Badman", which has been smashed on BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra. 

If that wasn't enough, there are tracks by South Soul Project that are taking regular spots on numerous national radio shows and to top it all off, 3hrs provides 4 dance fuelled tracks that couldn't be more fitting to the sound of our musical tides this year.

You thought you knew Torqux? Think again. Formerly producing under two separate aliases, Torqux & Twist, the duo have now combined their efforts into the full-time project we can now call Torqux. Safe to say, we are over the moon to be dropping their first release ‘Blazin’’ which features the no-nonsense vocals of one of the UK’s fastest rising stars Lady Leshurr. 

The package includes a remix courtesy of the Annie Mac approved Dimension. Proving why he is currently one of the hottest names in drum & bass, Dimension keeps the no-nonsense ethos turning this one into a ‘tops off’ dancefloor cut. Finishing the package is a track entitled ‘Hit Me’ which see’s Torqux integrating their sub-heavy basslines accentuated by vocals more akin to Daft Punk’s French house. The outcome is all rather breath taking and with this being the debut EP for the duo, the future is looking incredibly bright!

UK drum & bass heads Drumsound & Bassline Smith are back for 2013.

After a sensational 2012 ride that highlighted with two top 40s in What Can You Do For Me ft Utah Saints & Radio 1 A-list track 'Through The Night', their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, main support on the DJ Fresh Nextlevelism UK Tour and gigs around the world, including UKF's sold out Brixton O2 Academy New Year's Eve party and remixing Jeff Wayne's classic 'War Of The Worlds', the boys have been busy locked in the studio working on new tracks.

The first fruits of this hard labour arrive in fine style with something special for their growing amy of bass fans, the free download promo only track 'Back To The Future', a D&B tribute flashback to all things great about the early 90's hardcore scene.

'Back To The Future' will be available as a free download promo for a limited time only so grab it whilst it's hot!!
