One day, two crickets land on the moon. Nobody knows exactly why and how this happening took place. But they are there.

They turn to the right, then to the left, and for the first time, they realize they are alone. Here, on the moon, there is no one to put them to sing the same song repeatedly. The crickets are free to play whatever they want for the first time.

In this months episode of WaxWorks Nyboe has gone for a late-evening walk with his old DJ-partner René Middelhede to talk about their beginning 20 years ago.

But also a talk about how curiosity can lead you on other paths and how we grew apart - mainly through our shift in music taste and cultures - and how René ended up studying at the music conservatory and living in Berlin making techno. And now is back full circle making hip hop beats again.

This is the third special in the 20th Anniversary series following the mixtape last month and the 2000’s hip hop special the month before.
