Recibimos desde Puerto Rico a una amiga de muchos años, quien es y ha sido una creadora de múltiples proyectos artísticos en diferentes disciplinas. Ella es Miosoti Alvarado, Mio.

En esta sesión nos enfocaremos en su más reciente proyecto musical llamado Piquete, así como el lanzamiento de su primer sencillo, "Fluir".

Piquete es una innovadora propuesta musical afro-puertorriqueña que Mio la define como neo-plena y bomba-groove.

En su propuesta, Miosoti ha fusionado ritmos tradicionales de bomba y plena, con bases rítmicas de géneros contemporáneos, manteniendo la sonoridad de los barriles de Bomba, panderos de Plena, guicharo, maracas, alfaia y otros instrumentos de percusión caribeña y brasileña.

Recibiendo la primavera de 2022 y celebrando el Mes Nacional de la Historia de la Mujer en marzo, les invitamos a disfrutar de esta charla con Mio y desde luego, del sencillo "Fluir".
