Pioneer Plays at CIRCUIT Essex:  Where sophistication meets serious sounds!

Since opening its doors in late 2014 Circuit Essex has quickly become 'the spot' to be seen at, partly due to its owners who include a TOWIE star & a local business mogul.  But what really makes CIRCUIT stand out from the crowd is this - Yes it is the place to be seen, but it is also the place to be heard - partying in a sophisticated venue does do come at the expense of musical quality.  

CIRCUIT has played host to everyone from Sandy Rivera to our very own DJ Pioneer.  After debuting in December 2015, DJ Pioneer was only too happy to bring Pioneer Plays to the venue for an 'Essex Special' and special it will be!  Through a 4 hour set DJ  Pioneer will take you on that journey you love, embracing old & new beats along the way.

DJ PIONEER has literally 'pioneered' his way through the underground house scene progressing from sets on pirate radio stations to a continuing residency on Kiss FM the UK's leading dance music station.  From sets in muddy fields on the main stage at Isle of Wight Festival, to beachside sipping champagne as the sun goes down at world famous clubs Es Paradis & Eden in Ibiza.  Continuing to be a highly sought after tastemaker in the scene not only as a DJ, but also as a producer & label boss (SOTU Recordings) DJ Pioneer shows no signs of slowing down his work rate.

Joining Pioneer we are pleased to welcome a stalwart of UK House & Garage,GRANT NELSON.  Grant aka Bump N Flex / NnG / Wishdokta( the list of aliases' goes on and on) has worked with too many great artists to name them all (think Jodeci, Beverly Knight, Frankie Knuckles & Faithless), he reads a dance floor with the ease that us mere mortals read the milk carton and always delivers a set that will have you begging for more.  

Completing the main room line up will be rising star JESS BAYS (Representing D Vine Souds, Sam Divines label).  Jess' track selection and energy are second to none and with these three on the decks your feet won't allow you off the dance floor til the lights come up!

This edition promises to be not only a journey through house, but also UKG which is currently making a welcome resurgence in clubland and we believe go hand in hand.  Percussion will be provided by CIRCUIT residents and Ibiza regulars Bongo Ben & CJ on the saxophone.

An avid music fan Shiloh's love of house music started in her teens when she discovered Déjà vu, Flex FM and Freek FM. This was further cemented once she started attending events like BACKTO95, Sun City, Pure Silk, Twice as Nice.

Her first trip to Ibiza opened her eyes and ears to the different sub-genres of house and marked the beginning of her journey to becoming a part of Major MoveMents and a HouseFM.Net regular.

Having only entered into the professional DJ circuit in February 2014 she has already played in venues like Nomad, Pacha, XOYO, Opera House, No.65 and towards the end of 2014 she added Great Suffolk Street Warehouse and Scala to the list when she played at the BackTo95 Legends Of The Old Skool Warehouse Party (GSS) in October 2014 and BackTo95 Boxing Day Special (Scala) in December 2014. In April 2015, She added Ministry Of Sound to her resume when she played at Groove Odyssey. In October 2015 she returns to Pacha now known as The Qube Project for BackTo95 Old Skool Sessions.


Black & White are a Deep and Tech house music duo that hale from London and Essex and were formed in 2014.

The duo consists of Liam Mason and Marvin Fusion.
They met each other whilst they were both members of an east London based radio station called Live FM back in 2013.

The two were fans of each other’s styles and after a number of guest appearances on each other’s shows they decided to form a dj/production group.

Black & White have played at some of the most popular house music venues in London which include, Fire & Light box, EGG LDN, Warehouse and Scala.

They have also played for popular brands such as We Are FSTVL, House Passion, The Asylum, 12 Hours With and Ego just to name a few.

Besides success on the DJ circuit the pair have also enjoyed notoriety as producers. Their first mainstream hit came in the form of a remix from the 2006 classic from Dennis Ferrer’s “Cure & The Cause” which received support from well-known dj’s including London’s very own DJ Pioneer.

Since then they have had one release on OneFold Records and another two releases on independent label B Phunkee Music.

In 2016 Black & White are preparing a number of tracks that they hope to release, one of them being their bass heavy current single entitled “Haters Gone Hate”, which is currently getting a lot of support from DJ Pioneer on Kiss FM.

They are also launching their very own party brand called “Defined”
