Le projet Black Beanie Dub voit le jour fin 2016 dans le sud de la France, près de Marseille. Après avoir joué et composé ensemble quand ils étaient plus jeunes, compositeurs et adeptes de la scène Sound System, c'est en 2017 que les deux amis fondateurs du projet se munissent de leur première sono. Voulant faire vibrer celle-ci à leur manière grâce à leurs productions et leur style à part, ils se retrouveront rapidement les outils à la main pour créer le system de leur choix, celui qui tourne aujourd'hui, le Black Beanie Sound. Pendant les années qui suivent, ils mettront à profit leur expérience musicale ainsi que leurs acquis en collaborant avec les plus gros labels Dub français (ODG, Rootical Attack Records.) Une musique aux sonorités chaudes, sur une sono pensée pour et fabriquée de toutes pièces. Aujourd'hui Black Beanie Dub continue de créer et diffuser sa musique mais beaucoup plus en session sound system que sur internet.
