Taking influences from punk, folk, metal, mariachi and electronica, Rocketship Forest have a furious, eclectic sound that could best be described as alternative rock. Lyrics about love, break-ups and dancing are excluded from their songs in favour of story telling, social commentary and absurdist stream of consciousness. 
With animated, energetic stage presence and a tendency to perform in costumes, make-up and masks, RF quickly earned themselves a reputation as a captivating live act.
