nov. 4 marks the 3 year anniversary of one of my favourite projects of all time.

i love "island of glass" by skg, it has inspired me so much throughout the years

in 2020 i made the first version of this remix for skg, but wasn't a big fan of it so i kept it unreleased. i played it in my dreamwood set, and people seemed to like it, so here's the slightly updated version which i prefer more. my guess is that sc compression will destroy this. honestly this is just the original but louder. 

i dont want this to be unreleased anymore, its been 2 years since i made it originally

This song is kinda the entire reason this album exists in the first place! I learned about okazaki fragments in biology class and thought to myself "that sounds like a rhythm game and/or rhythm game influenced song" so I got the idea to make it into an actual song, but then I also remembered this whole concept I made about biological alteration that fits into this huge storyline I'm making. So, I made a whole EP that turned into an LP based entirely on that! Hands down my best rhythm game music I've ever made. Actually we. Asaniel COOKED with melodies and sound design.
