Recently named “Discovery of the Week” by Last.fm (March, 2014), alternative rock power trio, AMA, is made up of childhood friends Rob Suchecki and Patrick Raimondi, and RJ Dowhan. Rob and Pat started playing in bands together in rural Connecticut. Rob’s uncle had been giving him guitar lessons on a miniature acoustic since he was 8 and Patrick had discovered his dad’s 50’s Epiphone guitar. Patrick gravitated towards the bass and, with a mutual love of punk, blues and alternative rock borne from the likes Oasis, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day and Nirvana, he and Rob spent the next ten years performing countless shows in grimy bars they were far too young to be in. 
 
After writing and recording their first EP as AM Aesthetic in 2009, "(AM)bivalence", they began to scour the internet looking for a drummer. Fellow Connecticut native RJ Dowhan perfectly filled the bill. RJ caught the music bug from his two older brothers, one of whom played the drums. Being that the drum kit was set up lefty, RJ learned to play it as such, despite being right-handed. Rob came to NYC with AM Aesthetic to NYC and 2012 saw them recording their second EP “Waiting in the Wings.”

Signed to a development deal in 2013 by BHiMG, the band currently splits its time between tracking and playing out in the NYC-area. Their musicianship is top-flight (each excels at their art, and Rob’s credits even include guitars on Beyonce’s latest “Best Thing I Never Had”), and their live shows are, according to their fans, “energetic” and “straight-up fun.”  

The band is co-producing with the label a full-length due in Summer 2014, with two singles and video releases leading up to the debut. “We Caught Fire” released in November 2013 and “The End” in March 2014 as the prelude single to the LP. All tracking was engineered by Rob himself (Kid Ink, Natalia Kills and Travis Porter), drums were recorded at Mission Sounds, (Oliver Strauss) mixed by engineer Jeremy Cimino and mastered by Carl Rowatti.

Hugh and Elliot, very good childhood friends, share from the youngest age a common passion, guitar and rock music. They meet at the age of 11 years old and spend countless afternoons composition their very first melodies inspired by pop-punk bands such as Sum 41, You Me At Six, Blink 182, Relient K, We The Kings, Yellowcard aswell as All Time Low.

It isn't long before they start searching for a drummer in order to form a rock band and start performing for the first time on stage in the school theatre and at the Gibus Club for the "Rock The Gibus" festival. 

This concert at the gibus, their very first in a professional venue let them learn many things including the lack of a bassist in the rythm section. Not long after, William joins the band as a bassist in order to find a 'fuller' sound, him having played many times with Elliot in the past.

Ever since Black Crown Falling counts four members, their style evolves, the band works more and more on finding their own sound, trying to go towards a certain musical perfection by performing as much as their school work permits (Théâtre EABJM, Gibus, Scène Bastille, Alhambra).

In order to concretise their musical frolics, Black Crown Falling plans on recording their first 5-song EP in around September 2013

Hugh et Elliot, de très bons amis d’enfance, partagent dès leur plus jeune âge une passion commune, la guitare et le rock. Ils se rencontrent à 11 ans et passent des après-midis innombrables à composer leurs toutes premières mélodies inspirés par des groupes pop-punk tels Sum 41, You Me At Six, Blink 182, Relient K, We The Kings, Yellowcard ou encore All Time Low.

Ils se mettent rapidement à la recherche d’un batteur afin de mettre en place un groupe de rock et de faire leurs premières performances live sur la scène de l’école et au Gibus Club à l’occasion du festival "Rock The Gibus". 

Ce concert au Gibus, le premier sur une scène professionnelle leur a permis d’apprendre plusieurs choses dont le manque d’un bassiste dans la partie rythmique. C’est alors que William rejoins le groupe en tant que bassiste afin de trouver un son plus complet, lui qui avait déjà joué avec Elliot à plusieurs reprises. 

Depuis que Black Crown Falling contient quatre membres et se trouve au complet, leur style évolue, le groupe travaille de plus en plus pour trouver un son propre à lui même tentant de se diriger vers une perfection musicale en faisant le plus d’apparitions possible sur scène (Théâtre EABJM, Gibus, Scène Bastille, Alhambra). 

Afin de pouvoir concrétiser leurs ébats sonores, Black Crown Falling a pour projet d’enregistrer leur premier EP 5-titres à la rentrée 2013.

New York-based Jon Moodie arrives with a fierce garage soul sound. Jon’s voice instantly catches you – a raspy, sultry instrument that makes him an immediate standout. Jon manages to combine an effortlessly timelessness with a bang-up-to-date radio sound. Debut single, ‘Get What You Want’ has the purity of the Sixties, the grit of the Seventies and the spirit of right now!
