The Legendary Radio Show #346 (28-12-2024) 2024 Wrapped Part 2 of 2

A bit of a multi-genre mix, but one where I wanted every track to make me want to dance like a maniac.  I think I dance like a maniac ordinarily anyhow 🤔😂.

The mix starts more housey, on a deeper tip with some beautiful piano led tracks, still with an energy, and then moves through jacking house, deep tech and more pumpy tech.  It's even tribal in places.  

There's a few clever edits of old tracks that just about everyone will remember, some fondly, like me.  The mix keeps the energy high throughout, and it makes me want to dance pretty crazy in that old person, slightly awkward way 🤔. 

This has been a mad year for me in several ways. I found my way again with house music after a few years, unsure of 'my sound'. I also reacquainted with someone who I connect musically with and met my musical twin. That's never happened to me before. Both have been a revelation. 

There are plenty of phat rolling, groovy basslines in this mix. I wanted a mix that flowed nicely through the transitions. so it's mixed in key, and transitions are subtle, mainly using tone controls.  Nothing spectacular at all.
