DJ Tony Tuff was born & raised in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn to Guyanese parents. Tuff bought his first set of Technic 1200 turntables at the age of 14. While growing up in N.Y.C during the early nineties he attended Murry Bergtraum H.S in lower Manhattan where he was heavily influenced by the sounds of deejays such as Kid Capri, Ron G,   Spectrum/StereoSonic and record stores like Rock N Soul, BeatStreet, Fat Beats, etc. While attending Virginia State University he won various deejay battles/competitions & he also had the opportunity to open up for world renowned deejays. Over the years Tuff has released hundreds of exclusive remixes & mixtapes. He is currently in the works on the follow to his 2014 mixtape "Tuff Summer Love Heatwave & Blends".
