The style that resonates with her the most is fast, spherical, groovy, and hypnotic techno. Ida Mandato [IT]

Ida Mandato @idamandato was born in a small town in Calabria region, Italy in 1989. Seduced by music and more generally by all forms of art, she moved to Rome in 2009, where she opened up to a greater number of new experiences. She studied art history at University, meanwhile she embarked on her own journey behind the console; she made her debut in 2013 with the Crew Female Cut in Rome and collaborated also with the Animal Social Club where she would become Resident Dj after one year of putting music at the Club. As her technique refined and she increased her ability in expressing herself through her own music, she became increasingly known and appreciated all around Italy’s Capital City at first, in Rome, then in all Italy and also in Europe. Often traveling between her two elected cities, Rome and Berlin, she had been enriching her sound, strolling around the history of the Eternal City, ranging from ambient, experimental, dark techno music sounds, till the rawest and most violent sounds from industrial music, inspired by a very modern and fervent Berlin City.
She has had dozens of collaborations to her credit. Resident Dj from the Risonanza Project, Ida could play alongside some important artists such as Front 242, and she always left her own special mark to any event she took part in. In 2019 She graduated after 2 years of study in Electronic Music Production and Sound Engineering. At present she has been working as Audio, Video and Lighting Technician for Live Shows and like a Music Consultant on TV. At the same time she has also been performing for different events.

Morsil and techno are a case of overwhelming and unbridled passion. One of 
those types that happen at first glance, without context or explanation. A 
relationship as unlikely as late, since not even her first contacts with music have 
made it predictable. Fan of metal and rock, influenced by friends, and later 
hardcore and drum n' bass, it is through these styles that she has first entered 
the world of electronic music. 
Born in the 90s, in Porto, she is part of a generation that embraced first hand 
the growth of the techno scene in Portugal. As she reached the age to go 
clubbing, clubs like Gare, Industria and Lux increased their offer and turned this 
country into a desirable destination for the best Techno artists in the world. 
Names like Oscar Mulero and Regis are the example for many and Morsil is no 
exception. However, all this would not be enough to make her what she is 
today. The absorption of various styles and musical trends, the generational 
influence are clearly key factors. But the rest comes from her own innate 
abilities: complete control of space and time as soon as she takes her role in 
the booth, unpredictability combined with an intrinsic ability to go beyond 
borders, not imposing limits on her eclecticism, and at the same time always 
keeping her musical line: music with texture, hypnotic obscurity, heavy, hard 
and mechanical movements, sometimes faster, sometimes slower, but always 
with the ability to transport. Playing with light and different atmospheres and 
converging it on a main goal, which is to make the listeners dance. Preferably 
with eyes closed, embracing the darkness of the trip.

This set is part of the @beatsdonor charity campaign, in which electronic music artists encourage people to register with bone marrow donor bases to save the lives of children suffering from leukemia. #beatsdonor

Born in Córdoba (Argentina) in 1986. From childhood he showed an interest in electronic music, influenced at that time by albums that were heard by his older brothers, one of them was a DJ at the beginning of the 90’s.

It would not be until his adolescence that he would begin to learn guitar, which led him to learn to compose music of genres and styles very dissimilar to each other, as well as to execute other instruments.

Returning to the first love, he then dedicated himself totally to Techno music and to give life to what he calls “Rhombic”, a name that shows its curiosity to the laws of physics and mathematics.
