Hear we go for another episode The Valkyrie's scroll 📜 inspired through the God Of War Game Series, this set was performed at Darkadia Gathering big thanks to the guys behind this beautiful gathering, the line up full of great Mauritian artist of the electronic & psychedelic scene and specially the beautiful crow full of energy.

Gunnr (alternatively guðr) is an Old Norse term meaning "battle". It is the name of a valkyrie in Norse mythology, and was also used as a feminine given name. The modern forms Gun and Gunn remain in use as a feminine given name in Scandinavia. The word is from Proto-Germanic gunþiz, which is a common element of Germanic names not only in North but also in West Germanic, as second element especially frequent in feminine names (as in Hildegund), as first element also in masculine names (as in Gunther).

In legend, Gunnr is the Mistress of War. She would appear during the aftermath of any conflict, big or small, as the first to arrive and search for worthy souls for a trip to Vahalla. It was considered a gruesome task but she did it with pride. Her judgement of the fallen was unparallaled and an invaluable resource to Odin, thus making her one of his favorites.

Gunnr's armour design is based on a crow.

The earliest attestation of the name is on the Rök Stone where it occurs as part of a kenning for wolf:

Þat sagum tvalfta, hvar hæstʀ se Gunnaʀ etu vettvangi a, kunungaʀ tvaiʀ tigiʀ svað a liggia.
"I say this the twelfth, where the horse of Gunnr sees fodder on the battlefield, where twenty kings lie."

On this EP Offlabel takes us on a beautiful journey inspired by probably one of the most diverse years we recently had, the isolation of 2020. Starting with straight bass lines and dark atmosphere, describing the never ending mood-swing oscillates between states of extreme euphoria and deep sadness. Turning to rolling bass lines representing that deep feeling for “Normal” life again. Breath Of Soul wishes to cast light upon the importance of cherishing any experience you go through in life, distinguishing the truth from the artefact, towards your interior development.
