First single taken from 2021 community mixtape by Neo Clowns, "DIY SUMMONINGS" - a project inspired by, and dedicated to an electronic music mastermind @iglooghost. The mixtape is our approach to a mysterious music genre created by Igloo called Lei Music, which has the abbility to summon creatures from another world. Each track is a unique take on the Lei phenomenon, as we try our best to summon the weirdest and coolest beigs possible.

In the words of Cameron Jarvie:
"In the modern day, Lei Summons are enacted using many forms of equipment - from traditional folk equipment, to sleek laboratory experiments, to alternative theoretical contraptions, to the modular, slap-dash equipment of enthusiasts. A large limit on all of these devices is their reliance on being manually designed and tuned to suit the environment in which the summon is performed. My hypothesis is that by engineering a transcription device capable of translating foreign geological code into a readable format for a native lei device, we might usher in a whole new era of development and collaboration in the field of Lei Research. 
This particular study was performed on a recently modified NewSylph^m1 daosing rod, a high spec device originally created for use on Dorset chalk. Our modified version has been named ‘Meridian’, as its first test was performed on the Meridian Line in Greenwich Park, London. An idyllic segment of an otherwise sprawling metropolis, the park owes much of its above-ground splendour to a series of impurities below. Its geological constitution deviates greatly from London’s typical soft clay, with additional Thanet sands, silt and gravel. The Meridian’s soil is likely highly contaminated, being in close proximity to both the docklands and Blackheath, which is thought to contain an enormous mass-grave from 1665’s Great Plague. These impurities (in both bedrock and soil) would make manual tuning of traditional Lei devices extremely difficult, and therefore creates an excellent testing ground for our prototype transcription apparatus. 
While far from perfect, the results from that first test are encouraging, and it is with great excitement that I present to you our findings from that day, captured on disk.
