I was again inspired to write this piece after reading the book "The Four Winds" by Kristin Hannah.....it tells about the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression in America/Texas during the 1930...
My sincere thanks go out to Mirjam Keijnemans for adding her own voice and orchestration to my piece which has given it another dimension, and also to Leon Pajer (Orlando51) for the brilliant mix and production of this piece...

This track has quite a story. The basic playback piano, synths and drums have been composed and pre-produced by OESJ (Ralf Wadephul + Peter Pasch) and sent to me to work out some guitars. The whole music was intended as a vocal track with a female singer. 

Before I really started to work with the song I played a bit with the core of the song, and made a whole new story out of it, adding guitar layers and also sung on it. Lacking lyrics I used the lyrics of 'Der König von Thule' Gretechen sung in Goethes "Faust" ...
Of course this version was never meant to be published and was just an 'Outtake' on my harddisk. Untill the other day, where I asked the OESJ guys for the permission to publish it as an kinda 'cover version' of the song ... :)
