Lanowa (@user-668517702) aka Martin Nice has been making a bit of a swirl in the Balearic circles with a series of extremely delicious EP's on @citizensofvice over the last couple of years as well as a very tasty track on the ever reliable Paper Recordings.

His latest release see's him further develop that burgeoning partnership with Citizens of Vice with the perfect summer groove My Fantasy. As well as the sun soaked original here they have enlisted Roisin Murphy's go to remixer Crooked Man who has delivered a three beautiful remixes all slightly different takes on My Fantasy.

Across the three they range from the beutiful summer chug of Crooked Fantasy 1 to the percussion heavy deep house of Crooked Fantasy 2 and onwards to the even deeper insesant and spacy broken beat of Crooked Fantasy 3, a trio of tracks which travel from the early evening terraces all the way to the 4am smoke filled backrooms.

New Zealand disco-boogie outfit Flamingo Pier plant some Brooklyn roots with their fresh new ‘Beneath the Neon EP’ on Razor-N-Tape. Known for parties in East London and their massive hometown festival, as well as previous releases on Soundway, the Kiwi collective deliver a trio of new songs that solidify and expand their signature danceable blue-eyed indie-soul sound.

Lead off single How 2 Feel shows a clubbier side of the band, with a pulsating house rhythm track and layers of angular synth stabs, vibey horn lines, and vocal chants. Beneath the Neon and Remedy are more familiar Flamingo Pier territory, upbeat indie disco anthems that boast incendiary vocal hooks, funky guitar work, and crisp production by Luke Walker.

Rounding out the EP are remixes by Chicago house legend Glenn Underground, and RNT co-head JKriv, whose mix features a guest appearance by Afro-boogie royalty Steve Monite.

Oozing with hazy sun, Beneath the Neon is the perfect soundtrack to soak up the dog days of summer.

After seven years since their last collaboration, label boss Eddy Romero and Argentinian producer Juan Zolbaran reunite for the highly anticipated "House Tales EP." Cosmic Boogie asked me to put a mix together for his re-launched blog so I put this edit together as a little exclusive for the mix and thought I'd share it here seeing as the original version (either on Chicago's Gherkin or or Italy's D-Vision) is currently changing hands for £40 plus on Discogs!

Released back in 1991, it's still for me one of the most seductive house records ever...

A few things gigwise for February. As well as the usual bit's at West London's 'The Regent' and East London's 'Big In Japan' night, I'm also playing for the Shameless Disco boy's at The Drop in Stoke Newington alongside rising star Ben Sun, really looking forward to that.

"PSK - Disco Season" is one of the most in-demand and surely rarer Disco-Funk/Reggae LP ever made in Nigeria and for Dig This Way records it's the continuation of the cooperation with the friend Austin Rigar, lead singer of "The Combats". In this release, the two best tracks of the original LP got pressed on a phat sounding 45rpm 12'', housed in a full-color disco sleeve. Last but not least, two dancefloor-ready edits of the track "Spell Bound" by DNArt & Black Pomade are included with any digital or physical copy of the release.
