Hablar de David Pulido es hablar de Techno con todas las letras. El dj y productor nacido en
el año 1988 en Andújar (Jaén) iniciaba su trayectoria musical desde bien joven. Un carácter
introvertido y a la vez soñador le hizo conectar con gente similar durante la adolescencia,
momento en el que descubrió la que se convertiría en su principal pasión: la música
electrónica.
Con tan solo 18 años adquirió sus primeros platos, con lo que pudo comenzar a profesionalizar
algo que para él era más que un hobbie. Consistencia diaria, trabajo duro y esfuerzo siempre
por mejorar le permitieron abarcarse en el mundo del Techno con toques minimalistas que
abanderaban su propio sonido, el cual forjó en base a su personalidad y bajo influencia de
referentes como Marco Carola o Cristian Varela. Su 'fichaje' por el colectivo Selëctry en 2009
le permitió comenzar a crearse un nombre a nivel regional, llevando a cabo actuaciones muy
enérgicas donde saca a relucir lo mejor de su personalidad sonora, conectando de lleno con
un público que se entrega en cuerpo y alma a sus mezclas. Con el paso del tiempo irá puliendo
y transformando su sello particular, alcanzando el sonido Techno tan puro, poderoso y
espectacular que ofrece a pleno 2025 y que tantos éxitos le augura.
A nivel de dj, actuaciones en eventos de prestigio, plazas de nicho clubbing y salas de
referencia en la escena como Row 14 Barcelona, Metrópolis Córdoba, Industrial Copera
Granada, Almería y los lugares más selectos de su provincia (Kharma, Jaén Green Sound, Jaén
Electronic...) avalan como testigos el talento de uno de los productores más habilidosos y
creativos de la escena andaluza, quien ha podido compartir cartel con los artistas
internacionales más punteros de las últimas décadas: Paco Osuna, Óscar Mulero, Fatima Hajji,
Technasia, Gaiser, Andrés Campo, Gaetano Parisio, Alex Under, Egbert, Marc Marzenit, Rino
Cerrone, Dosem, Miguel Bastida, Raúl Pacheco, Lexlay, David Mallada...
En su faceta de producción destacan referencias editabas bajo sellos de mucho prestigio. En
una primera etapa brilló en sonidos Minimal Techno que fueron respaldados por Hutman
Records, Intech Records o Beat Tech Records. Ahora, con un sonido más definido y poderoso
que nunca (Peak, Raw, Diving, Industrial...), destacan referencias con gran alcance
internacional (con el support de iconos como Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Ben Sims, Don
Diablo, Paco Osuna, Andrés Campo, Robert Leiner, Hollen o Belocca) que han sido presentadas
bajo sellos como Throne Room Records, Dynamic Form, dZb Records, Medular, My Planet
Records, Raw Worx o Playoff.
El momento prime de David Pulido está aún por llegar. Tras una transformación sonora que
ha permitido hacer brillar su música más que nunca, David ha asentado definitivamente un

Durch meine Eltern habe ich, von Kindesalter an angefangen, den Radiosender „Sunshine Live“ gehört. Dadurch bin ich auf den Geschmack, der elektronischen Musik, gekommen.

Im Alter von 17 Jahren habe ich angefangen, mich für das Djing zu interessieren. Ich wusste allerdings nicht, wie das Auflegen auf einem DJ Pult funktioniert, da das Konzept des Djings anfangs sehr komplex ist.
Ein guter Freund zeigte mir die Grundlagen und so habe ich angefangen, die Musik, die mir gefiel, selber zu mixen. Dadurch kam ich auf den Techno und Tech-House Stil. Dies hat mich dazu Inspiriert, weiter darauf aufzubauen. Als DJ und mit meinen Sets, die ich auflege, will ich den Leuten das Gefühl geben, frei sein zu können.

Ich möchte mit meinen gespielten Set´s das Publikum überraschen und ihnen einen kleinen Teil meiner musikalischen Welt zeigen.
Ebenso möchte Ich, dass bei der tanzenden Menge das Gefühl da ist, ein Teil der Gemeinschaft zu sein, in der man sich gegenseitig respektiert und miteinander harmoniert.

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast, like Anne Rosko, Isca Nublar, 909RIOT, Traumtherapie, Dj E-Viction, Tchie, Andy Pirie, techno X-citement, Dj Capelli, X-Dream and Nao Tamura.

Vicious Steam Engine has been a guest DJ on podcasts such as TECNO OSCURO (2 DjSets), a Darker Wave, Techno Topic by Andy Pirie and RTDFRAVERADIO from Brooklyn. In his latest 2 guest DjSets for RTDFRAVERADIO he played alongside with great Djs/Producer like Franky Bones, Lenny D. , Jim Solis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Rewilder, Chris Liberator, Dj Papa Smrf, Jay Maniakal, Dj Hoora, Bösetecha, Destro187, Belaroc and many others awesome Djs.

28.11.2021 he released his first EP at TECNO OSCURO: Dark Dance of Gratitude
followed by 18.04. 2022 by "Kill the Silence"EP.
Since 2023 he focused really deep on music production. He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02.
