Press Release:
We are very proud to present today our first collaboration with the Chilean artist NBM. Already present on the compilations of the Dosis Records label, the dj and producer signs here a full EP of four tracks at the same time exciting and catchy. Relaxing and inviting to meditation, Migrating South is a work perfectly mastered technically. NBM takes us in a mango journey as it engages and overperposes its different colorful sounds. 
To conclude, Trøm Borg’s remix of the Starting Ritual track completes this sensory journey in a way that is specific to this artist, but perfectly respecting the axis of progression chosen by NBM to realize this sublime project.

PREMIERE: NBM - Settling In [Ancestral Process]

Having been a part of the label since its inception, Soft Collision's debut on Artificio continues the narrative begun with Imago, his contribution to the compilation Ficciones.   Asterismo is a collection of five spatial, subtly acid-tinged, electro-infused tracks meticulously constructed with evocative melodies and basslines.   From the eponymous opener to the bass-inflected «Conmoción», each track evolves organically, filling unseen voids with a harmonious blend of synth interactions and dynamic rhythms.

Token has been something of a mainstay for Inigo Kennedy ever since their very first release back in 2007. In the past eight years, we have seen a flurry of inspiring releases from the producer, each crafted with more finesse than the last. Last year, Token also saw the release of the Vaudeville LP. Here, Kennedy carved out a space in which to take on a more considered approach, thus allowing the experimental side of his sound to blossom. Clarion Call is Kennedy’s first release since 2014’s Vaudeville, returning to the EP format with poise. 
 
The EP itself covers wide sonic ground in a short amount of time. It opens with pads that swell to euphoric heights, before crashing into a jittering hyper-sequenced groove. ‘The Fold’ lumbers forward in an off-centre rhythmic direction, wrong-footing the beat at every turn. But yet, the kicks on ‘Kepler’ land on the eardrums like boxing gloves to the face. Each thump gives the right-hook-left-hook treatment to the stereo-field. By the end, Kennedy’s percussive workout has reached its climax, and the fragments that remain recede into the surroundings. 
 
Kennedy has a special talent for marrying earth-shattering dynamics with rapturous atmospheres. Where many producers whip up grandiose sci-fi soundscapes, Kennedy reels back to the dark and poignant. The result is an EP with sorrowful depth and technical power in equal measure. If this EP is a clarion call from Kennedy to his listeners, it is a call-to-arms to producers and club-goers alike. Kennedy reminds us: we should expect more from the dance-floor.

From dark trips to hypnotic raw techno, for the first time on Absolute records you can find Giorgio Gigli, who purposes an endless dark techno trip; Rommek returns after one year with an intense industrial brick; B side starts with the host of the compilation Lunatik who purpose a crispy techno track, later there is OPL with a deep & groovy techno tool; closing track is entrusted to one of the most prolific producers of the moment, the portuguese Nørbak, who offers an incredible journey without borders.
