Casual_observer is a DJ and producer originally hailing from Amsterdam, where he co-organises the "moving closer" event series. He currently resides in Berlin, and holds a residency at UK based Subtle radio. Starting his musical journey as a drummer, his music retains a heavy focus on groove, rhythm and experimentation. Sets by casual_observer are diverse and engaging, finding a unifying groove and energy across the various musical genres he explores. Often playing jungle, broken techno, footwork, breaks and more, the only guarantee is tasteful selection and a crowd that can't stand still.

casual_observer iz Amsterdama je DJ, producent in soorganizator dogodkov "moving closer". Pred kratkim se je preselil v Berlin, kjer ima trenutno rezidenco na britanskem Subtle radiu.

Svojo glasbeno pot je začel kot bobnar in njegova muzika bazira na groovu ritem sekcije. Njegovi seti so privlačno eklektični in v interakciji nadgrajujejo energijo posameznih britansko plesnih žanrov, ki jih raziskuje. V ekskluzivnem miksu za Radio študent lahko pričakujemo jungle, polomljen tehno, footwork, breakse, IDM, bass in še.

Black Teeth Radio: Moving Closer With Daikon (25 - 01 - 2024)

DJ Zo started his musical explorations in his late teens, being influenced by deep and repetitive techno sounds in the Rotterdam and Amsterdam night life, by names like Donato Dozzy and Peter van Hoesen. He developed his own style chracterized by his profound love for trippy and groovy techno but which has been influenced the last years by dubstep, bass and breakbeat.
