Joe Ford returns to the family with a monstrous release on Caliber Music, via his 'Mission' EP. This 21 year old producer - who released his debut EP on Ammunition Recordings almost 2 years ago - has seen massive success over the last 12 months, quickly becoming one of the hottest names in Drum & Bass, Neurohop, Dubstep, and beyond. 

In his latest offering on Caliber, Joe Ford experiments with a range of vibes over five tracks on the EP. Kicking off with tunes like 'Mission' and 'Combine,' Ford continues to impress in whatever style he chooses to take on. Joe's close attention to detail and Neurofunk bassline mastery collide with tear-out breakbeat vibes to make a uniquely lethal combo. 

Taking things into more relaxed and lush territory over the next two, 'Moving On' and 'Majesty', showcase a more sentimental side to the producer... about as restrained as you'll hear from him. 

Joe Ford closes the release out with a big room dubstep floor smasher, 'Unsafe'. Like he so easily did with the Glitch-Hop format, Joe Ford brings his signature neuro vibe to Dubstep and Breaks. Following support from MK, The Magician, Tensnake and Skream on his debut Anjunadeep release, Lancelot returns with another exciting collaborative EP, this time with Australian soul sensation Ngaiire.

Premiered on BBC Radio 1 by Skream, "Ain't Nothin' Goin' on But the Rent" picks up where "Givin' It Up" left off, fusing contemporary deep sounds with retro vocal vibes. Ngaiire covers Gwen Guthrie's 80's classic in style over jam-band style instrumentals, featuring live guitar, keys and synth.

The sound of the Anjunadeep Miami party, B-side "Truth" ventures deeper, with Ngaiire again harnessing a throwback vocal over a warm, enfolding bass groove.

First up on remix duties is Meramek, who follows up his exciting debut Anjunadeep EP with a seriously bass heavy cut, perfectly primed to do some damage on the dance floor.

Lancelot himself turns in an ace piano dub reworking of the A-side, fuelled by ravey low end and infectious piano stabs beneath the chopped up vocal.

Fellow Aussies Playmode, fresh from remixing Ninetoes and collaborating with Jesse Rose put a wonky dancefloor spin on the original, working a bouncing tech-house groove around the stripped back vocal.

Há meses trabalhamos nessa track e em muitas vezes pensamos em não lançar e deletar o projeto por ter sido um processo de criação e produção meio perturbador pra todos os envolvidos. 

Na música contem áudios criados por profissionais, baseados em estudos psiquiátricos com relatos de pessoas com esquizofrenia. Depois de inúmeras entrevistas de pessoas com a doença sobre o que eles escutavam ou sentiam, o áudio foi criado para que tenhamos uma melhor compreensão do que isso faz com o indivíduo. 

EXPLICAÇÃO SOBRE O QUE IRÁ OUVIR: 

O esquizofrênico possui uma super-atividade na área de compreensão da fala (chamada de área de Wernicke), no cérebro, o que cria alucinações sonoras, ou melhor, a ilusão de que pensamentos são vozes verdadeiras. 

Ouça a música usando fones de ouvido. 
NÃO OUÇA se você possui algum problema nervoso.
