Dixie, Gabriel LMRN, Münch, Outburst Knobs, Podbielski, Viels and Mattafunk form a collective better known as Acquario. The cultural hub Masada is the home base for their event series. And within the Acquario, everything moves to a different tune. It is a safe and vibrant world in which you immersed yourself naturally, getting lost for hours between slow and wild movements, sounds and harmonies from the abyss. You could imagine those in total silence, still and calm, neatly painted onto the canvas of the earth. But it’s another world here, on a constant move, particles of sand dancing frivolously to the rhythm in the wind. Black Wave 040 - Acquario

The first podcast for 2022 comes from the Dutch DJ and Producer Rambadu, who is born and based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. 

Rambadu entered the world of electronic music at an early age through various experiences in his hometown. Driven by the love and passion for this music, he got into DJing and soon after that he was often playing around town. 

For the past 12 years, he has devoted most of his time to producing, and as of recently launched his own label - Rambadu. Next to his solo productions on his imprint, some other releases include: a remix for Vanoni on Ritualism Records, his solo EP ''AJNA'' on Hypnus Records, and an upcoming appearence on Claudio PRC's imprint 012 on V/A Systema Naturae I along side: Claudio PRC, Forest On Stasys and Dycide.

Rambadu's sound can be characterized by its floating energy, organic sounds and droning atmospheres. In this mix he demonstrates fluid mixing skills over three decks, where the listener is invited to experience a dynamic endeavour. Gradually changing and radiating positivity, this set shows Rambadu's inspiration from nature. Press play and enjoy now!

Originally from Seoul, Korea, Unjin's international debut came with Miami WMC 2010 as Korea’s best electronic musician. Since then Unjin is fast becoming known in Asian techno circles as one of top producers and DJs to watch. Unjin is the founder of Korea’s first techno label 'ECI Korea' , a platform to expose emerging domestic and international talents to the world stage. 

As composer and producer, Unjin has played a key role in laying the foundation for a Korean techno culture. In 2010, as a part of the duo East Collective, the first techno album 'Spiral Sequence' was released,
receiving international recognition for the successful remixes of works for Ryogo Yamamori and DJ Sodeyama with Drumcell, Mr. Jones, Jonas Kopp, Tony Rohr & Layton Giodani, and inspiring many young
Korean artists.

While holding residency at Vurt Club in Seoul, Unjin tours internationally. Technokunst - a Budapest-based collective of like-minded artists - is continuing its series of podcasts, showcasing some of the best talent of the multifaceted genre we call Techno.

We have arrived to the second podcast of 2022 in the form of a studio mix recorded by Whispering Signals label owner Daniel Danieli. Originally hailing from Belgium, the Aachen-based producer has been on our radar for a very long time. His releases have a peculiar haze, a rawness that seems to take notes from Rod Modell's bag of engineering tricks, while still maintaining a strong personal identity and of course - very high production quality. This studio mix is a perfect example of the vibe Dan is going for in his sets - deep, subtle, and whispering. The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.

But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

At the beginning of 2019, he released his first work 'A Vision Of Light' in Danza Nativa, where currently he is one of the pillars of the label based in Buenos Aires.

Luigi Tozzi has calmly cemented his position as a leading DJ & producer of the deep techno scene for his distinct brand of techno that merges the sound of hypnotic techno with organic grooves from ambient and dub techno. Raised in Rome, he takes influence from the timeless Italian sound, which he’s further developed with an emotional, swirling, dubby atmosphere. There’s an unmistakable texture to his productions. While prolific, Tozzi has kept his output within a close family of labels. Swedish label Hypnus is key here, having released a large number of the producer’s EPs as well as his acclaimed debut album, Deep Blue: Volume 2. Alongside Hypnus, Tozzi has worked closely with Mental Modern and Outis Music, releasing both solo as well as collaborative work with the label’s founder, Dino Sabatini. Tozzi’s unswerving commitment to his sound, alongside his pensive and considered development as an artist has brought him to where he is today, with a touring schedule that’s taken him to some of the finest clubbing establishments around the world. Within this, he maintains a residency at Khidi, Tbilisi, which in recent years has emerged as one of the best clubbing destinations in Europe and is often coined “the new Berghain”. It’s through this platform that he brings his unique hybrid sound as both a DJ and producer, and can evolve and experiment as an artist. Other notable events that have seen Luigi capture hearts and mind include Parallel festival, Waking Life and Modem.
