Hi Folks, I'm Karl Robins, originally from the North of England, Leeds but now live in a place called Spittal near Berwick upon Tweed. Been playing for many years as a solo artist but also in a number of different bands. One was clanjamfrie, with Richard Currie and John Carey, and also Blackwing.

Blackwing was essentially myself and Linda Stephenson, whose influences were mainly rock and blues, we sang  together for around five years. I've recently retired from my 'proper job' so I'm now able to spend a great deal of time on music and songwriting and have been able to start putting down songs I've had hanging around for ages, some of those are on here too. Most of these are with the excellent Gary Hetherington, with our 'long distance' writing and recording project, we go under the name 'Dancing with Ghosts' Hope you enjoy the music folks, always happy to have comments and to listen to new music and musicians!

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!
