It's a made up word. How terribly enigmatic, right? 
Invented at a particularly dull moment in a house party where people were trying to outdo one another with clever words 'most people would never have heard of', Peasey said it was a word to describe when a seemingly foolish series of decisions made simultaneously by two people prior to meeting actually lead them to one another.

It doesn't mean that. It doesn't actually exist. That was the point, they were boring.
