Ghost of The Machine - Last Man on Earth (Blacmav Remix)

The American singer/songwriter U-Jean, alias Alex Hutson, has just
released the up-and-coming track “Turn This Club Around” together
with the internationally successful dance-project R.I.O. For this track
the Cologne-based team of R.I.O. producers Yann Peifer (Yanou)
and Manuel Reuter (Manian) decided to feature the recently spotted
multi-talent U-Jean beside frontman Tony T. As the track has
already scaled iTunes Germany, Austria and Switzerland in a flash,
even entered Top 3 of the German and Austrian Official Charts, it
obviously taps into the nerve of time and sweeps the board.
Born and raised in Atlanta / Georgia by a gifted gospel singer, UJean
developed his passion for music early on. Being a curious and
adventurous young man, U-Jean first decided to become a U.S.
soldier after school, to leave America and to move to the south
of Germany. There, U-Jean auditioned for the internal U.S. Soldier
Show, was accepted and immediately began to travel all over Europe
doing over 200 consecutive gigs a year as well as being an
“ambassador” of American music, culture and professionalism in
Europe.
In 2008 U-Jean left the Army to focus on a professional career as
a singer in Germany. Becoming a member of several nationwide
well-known bands (e.g. Soulfingers, The King Kamehameha Band
and his own “U-Jean Soultime Band“) as a singer and songwriter,
he got heavily influenced by Soul, Hip Hop and R&B. Together with
his bands he succeeded in establishing “U-Jean” as a sought-after
live-act, increasingly meeting success and critical acclaim for his
performances.
In spite of this success, U-Jean attaches great importance to his
further personal development. Persuing a career as a solo artist,
he did several jobs as a studio singer when he met Manian and
Yanou in early 2011. Recognising his huge talent they asked him to
front their new project and, only a few months later, they released
U-Jean’s debut single. "Heaven Is A Place On Earth", a modern,
stunning remake of Belinda Carlisle’s former international #1 hit (of
1988), was quite a success, especially in clubs within Europe.
At that time, of course nobody could foresee what was going to
happen. With “Turn This Club Around” already their next release
looks likely to dominate the airwaves and international charts this
autumn!
