Ready (A Message For My People)

I recently visited my Alma Mater VSU to catch up and spend time with friends at Homecoming. As the drinks started flowing, some discovered that their limits were a lot lower than others. As things began to go downhill for this young man, The Homecoming Committee had an a-ha moment to create this song on the spot. The funniest part was when he woke up singing "It was the soda that did it!" 

While in the spirit of fun, hopefully this track can serve as a learning lesson for those that may not know when to say when! Remember to enjoy responsibly and don't blame it on the soda! lol

This year has been a trying time for all of us. Crazy thing is, this global pandemic has beckoned some to peel back the layers to understand why life is precious in itself. In the midst of election night, I found myself doing that thing I do.. where I come up wih an idea and expound upon it until I have a sense of how I would like the track to go.
