The exotic music collective was established by two composers/musicians/producers/engineers/singers-­songwriters namely Tshegofatso "Tazzy" Lehutso, born & bred in ekhurhuleni(east of johannesburg) & Victory "Vic" Chauke from Pretoria West, South Africa. Muz'art was established in 2009 with the initiative to create timeless & soul piercing music for a new age. The elements of the sound is influenced by the musical backgrounds of all the members, Jazz, Soul, Afro-­pop & Gospel. Apart from the two above mentioned members, the group has one more member Rorisang "rori" Thandekiso who is the bands lead vocalist from Vaal.

Muz'art also works with well known as well as unknown featured artists, forever keeping the element of surprise in their experimental production. Bound to make the best music they possibly can out of the African heart, Muz'art has a lot to offer. What comes next from the group will always be unpredictable & a mystery but will forever resonate & speak to the souls of humankind throughout the world. Muz'art is a lifestyle, a movement expressed through music. It is a production team of talented young artists, who produce timeless sounds that cross the boundaries of age, culture & race. It is a institution that reinforces the powers of sound & instruments. The Muz'art sound is inspired by Louie Vega, Sergio Mendez, Fela Kute & locally inspired by Jabu Khanyile, Lira, jimmy Dludlu, Thandiswa Mazwai,Ray Phiri(Stimela) & Caphius Semenya..
